Back from the game. Even though it was the Isles, winning without Alfie and Spezza was huge, and shows how much progress this team has made. Rsan into the Murrays post game and congratulated them both. To anyone who has only seen Tim Murray with an angry look on his face, this was a welcome change. He was grinning ear to ear and told me "We're Back".

Cheers mate!

Tavares is going to be huge in this league.

Hopefully he'll play at the WCs.

Really good effort by the guys today, especially considering their 2 big guns were out. It was especially nice to see Turris step up in Spezza's absence.

They weren't even supposed to be here so as some others have said, this is all gravy from here on

Can't wait for the playoffs to start!

You mean play defence the entire game and capitalize on the 1-2 scoring chances you get? We can't play that way.

They took away EK's assist, apparently Neil got one instead. That's his 200th point

He has carved out such a nice career from himself. Never thought he would be in the league at all, let alone being on of the most sought after guys for his role in the league, when he was playing under Martin and was purely a goon. One of the great stories on our team.

This. Montreal played a completely different style that would be hard to duplicate with a different system. Our PK, goaltending, and defensive coverage also isn't even close to what Montreal's was.
