Is it really, once they've been mathematically eliminated?

But we're in a weird spot here. This team looked like they didn't give a **** on the ice for months on end. I'm sorry if I'm an ******* for wanting a higher draft pick for our scouts. I understand it seems they've uncovered some gems in various rounds. But would it hurt if they had more leverage at the draft? Is that such a preposterous question?

I wish i could know who wild would have drafted if they had the 3rd overall last year. Anyone else feel tbat brodins name would have been called?

Nope. Only elitesuperstars like Stoner, Scandella and Zucker.

Not at all, but I don't think it's the only thing to want - there has to be other positives to take away from the end of the year.

Our top prospect is a 6-10th pick who knows we might just get another Granlund

Didn't Russo say the Wild really like Zibaenjad? I don't know at 3rd overall but he was probably higher on their list than Brodin.

They would have taken Adam Larsson if they wanted a defenceman. It wouldn't have made any sense at all to take Brodin over him.

That's basically the root of my current "YOU WAIT UNTIL NOW TO GIVE A ****?" bitterness.

Considering we've never seen Granlund at the NHL-level, that's not saying much.

But I know what you're trying to say.

In my opinion, yes.

I see a high draft choice as compensation for a bad/tough season, not as a reward for purposefully losing games. That's just me, though.

Plug yourself into the ethernet and find a way to jam your own wireless.

OR force the wireless data rate to like a few megs instead of the max.

Edmonton won't catch us in the standings, but if Anaheim wins, we still keep one draft spot because if/when we win tonight, we go from 4th to pretty much 9th overall.

Because if we werent winning, we could potentially be making up ground on the #2 pick tonight.

Also that is the stupidest Arbys commercial ever.
