Picking High isn't a sure thing either

Not looking to but Cam Barker was a 3rd overall pick

Forget all the prospects we've accumulated in the past 2-3 years and our core guys currently on the team. It was this offseason's first round draft pick that was going to be our savior and carry us to the cup!

Setoguchi played like a 1st liner tonight. Glad to finally be seeing his potential.

Honest question, do you want Yeo to healthy scratch Koivu, Heatley, Setoguchi and Gilbert?

The Schultz/Gilbert trade could end up actually being a mutually beneficial trade which is cool to see.

Sure would help us make the playoffs.... without Gui / PMB, it's likely we miss the playoffs again. But don't worry, we'll just barely miss it, so we'll get another mid 1st rounder who might help in 3 years

It appears as though you want us to lose games. That would be the best way to ensure that.

Wanting the Wild to lose a few meaningless games to ensure a high draft pick =/= coach Yeo purposely losing.

Personally I think the Wild should have shut down Koivu for the year and told him to go get healthy in Finland, get his shoulder to 100%.

As for the others? Unless there is some injury that they could use some time to heal from, no, I never want to see the Wild do something like that.

Personally I wanted the Wild to play hard and come up short in games. I would never pull for an absolutely intentional tank.

I am just incredibly bitter that they play like **** for three months and then turn it around when it means nothing.

You know New Jersey were 22nd in the NHL last season and they got 4th overall. We can still get a better pick.

So you want us to play with a full lineup and you want that lineup to play as hard as they can, but then get mad when it produces a positive result? It just feels like your vitriol is direct at Minnesota when it's really Chicago and LA that no-showed games that meant something to them and deserves that ire. The way I'm interpreting your POV is that you are mad at our players for playing hard. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Wow, look at whos posted in this thread. Usually I am way, way ahead of everyone, but two others close to the century mark and plenty more above 50.

Participation is awesome!
