For those who wanted the Islanders to tank, you have your wish. Now for the good news, Chuckie Cheese is happy with Garth and Capuano and both will be back, with little change to the team next year!!
And how many players are on the Isles who wouldn't have a job if not for the cap floor?

Basically that they were only mathematically in it two more games than last season, so where is the progress...
I guess we should prepare for next season's duo of Butchy & Flats

Question to Islanders: How do you guys prepare mentally and physically to be ready for the Devils?
Islanders Answer: What is prepared mean?

Hopefully a good-bye to Jurcina, Eaton, Pandolfo, Reasoner, Montoya and perhaps Grabner.

"We don't need significant changes." ~ Charles Wang
Right off the IPB interview of Chuck by Howie. Anyone defending Charlie still?

i'm not sure why any of you are surprised at what Wang said. he's committed to re-building through the draft, and i am glad that he's following it through. the LAST thing that we need is to get another Milbury in here, and trade away prized prospects for the cream of the scrap heaps...

Making trades
to improve the team is not pulling a Milbury. Snow has done nothing with the assets he could utilize to help the team. Maybe it if someone was offering a 2nd round pick, Garf would be all over it.

That's not what he is doing, and you more than likely know that.
