Someone will pick him up. There was an article around the trade deadline saying that other GM's have shown interest in him, they just feel that Allaire was having a negative affect on his game. Someone will take a chance on him, and I hope he succeeds.
Leafs should sign him to a 2 year deal 1.0 a year. Then trade him at draft as part of package. This guy I think is going to come back with a vengence. He just needs new atmosphere, and especially new goalie coach.
27 isn't any where near old for a goalie.

That said, I can definitely see a team taking a chance on him for 1 year at, say, 700k. He's shown flashes of brilliance, and this has been his best season..
Could the Rangers take a chance on him as backup? He can't be worse than Biron, right? Perhaps working behind a native elite goalie can teach him a thing or two about the NHL.
