Regardless, know how much of a hassle that can be, especially as my family down in Champaign only gets WGN America so I (sometimes) try to plan visits around times when the Hawks don't have games scheduled on WGN for that very reason!

As for this game..... somewhat expecting a letdown as the Hawks' are probably going to come out less then focused now that they secured a playoff spot.
yep, no chicago wgn on dtv. i live 3 miles from the uc and can't watch. gotta love monopolies.

I want the 4th and home ice. Rather face Nashville or Detroit with home ice. 5th would suck though.

They should have put Crawford in for both Minny games and given Emery the Detoilet game.

Anyone else find it curious how Detroit has been playing like crap basically ever since it became apparent they weren't going to catch St. Louis for the Central title? Obviously it would be illegal for anyone from the coach on down to conspire to lose games, but I don't think it's a secret that nobody wants to play Nashville in the first round, and that's where Detroit has been lined up since St. Louis took the lead in the division. How convenient would it be for them if the Hawks were to move up into 4th or 5th and they would end up facing the hapless Pacific Division...

I think you gotta give CC the last game, otherwise he has 6 or 7 days off before Game 1.

Today's the day we get that shutout.

3-0 Hawks.

There's something to that, but he's going to get a long sit either way, and I am a big believer in not showing your likely playoff rival respect by playing backup goalie against them late in the year. Bowman used to do this all the time.

Don't forget to bet tonight.

It's going to be a record-breaker.

Wings just won.

So, does that give the Hawks more or less incentive to win tonight?

Probably more. A matchup against the struggling Wings would be great, and the final game of the year would decide who gets home ice.

'Course, Nashville would need to lose one of their games too (vs. Dallas and Minnesota and @Colorado, IIRC).

I just don't think they are that great. They were incredibly healthy for like the 1st 4 months of the year. It was unsustainable. Not to mention being like 7-1 in shootouts.

Kane looked to be in some pain after taking slash on hands.
