Also suprised at Dumbas rank. Glad to see Teravainen getting some recognition.

Surprising. Ceci has really climbed the ranks, as has Scissons and Wilson.

Seeing Dumba at 12 really wowed me... very shocking. Seeing Girgensons below the likes of Matteau and Scissons also makes me winder if he'll even go first round now.

Should be very interesting to see how this reflects the opinions of other GM's and how the 1st round shakes down...

Dumba at 11 out of just the NA skaters? That's a bit crazy if you ask me, shocking actually. He's MUCH better than that IMO.
Murray seems to be creeping towards that #2 spot on several lists, it seems that his playoff performance opened up some eyes. Maybe he is BPA at 2.

It's good to Galchenyuk get some recognition, somebody is going to get a helluva player with him. I'm kind of sad that it likely won't be the Oilers.

Meh.

That NA goalie list is a complete joke.

So what is the likelihood of someone rated 25th on the European Skater ranking getting drafted? Would be really cool if someone drafts Nathan Walker.

From what I can see the QMJHL players ranking are pretty realistic. I would have Raphael Bussieres a little higher and the list is missing Luca Ciampini.

Dumba was 7th in their previous rankings.

Well 11 on NA skaters this year is more or less 12-14 overall. There aren't any goalies going that high, and after Forsberg, you've only got Teravainen and Collberg likely to threaten for a top 15 pick.

Going to be an interesting 2nd day for me just based on him. Really hoping he gets drafted.

I really hope NHL Network do a better job at covering the 2nd day than they did last year.

I can see Dumba sliding a bit. Yes he's a treat to watch, he's engaged physically, good skater, the whole package is there except size. His game is to robust and unpredictable at times. I really like the kid but I truly wonder how his game will translate to the NHL. Will he struggle like Thomas Hickey?

If I'm a scout, do you risk picking a player like him or do you go for someone like ceci or reinhart.

Likelihood should be quite high. Then again there's a lot of variance in the European rankings, there have been players in the top-15 that didn't get drafted while unranked players have been drafted (Emil Molin last year for example, wasn't ranked but was drafted in the 4th round)

Dumba plays the junior game like Tootoo did, and unfortunately is undersized like Tootoo. I think the chances of him being able to translate his style of game to the NHL are pretty low, hence his drop off in the rankings.

He can apparently play both positions but I think he's a career natural wing

Why do you see him being drafted? Every time I've seen Halifax, I've never noticed him. I even watched him closely Saturday and I didn't see anything worth of mention about his game.

I wouldn't put too much stock into Dumba dropping, well not as of now anyway. CSS is often the most extreme.

Maata over Dumba, Trouba, and Reinhart is interesting to say the least.

Hudon is gonna be a steal if he's a third rounder like this list would suggest.

Columbus Yakupov
Edmonton Murray
Montreal Grigorenko
NY Islanders Forsberg
Toronto Galchenyuk

Seems pretty straightforward, but of course it will change when Toronto wins the lottery...
