2014 USA Olympic Captain
Who do you think it'll be? I seriously doubt that Langenbrunner returns
I considered adding Scott Gomez...but I don't want the results to be skewed too badly
Edit: I could be missing someone, but I just used the current 4 American captains, except Gionta.

Should add Suter and Kesler.
Really can't go wrong with any of these guys, all of them make for great captains. I'm going to say Parise will be the captain.

never really saw Kes as captain material. he's the perfect heart and soul guy, but he also seems to be the type of person who wouldn't listen to anything anyone else says. he also gets frustrated too easily, and is terrible with conflict resolution. personally i'd go with Backes or Callahan. Voted Backes.
all of this coming from a Canucks fan.

Callahan is the most American man who ever lived. That being said, I think you could draw Backes, Kesler, Parise, Brown, or Callahan out of a hat and any would be great.

Backes or Callahan. Perhaps if one of the two win a cup before Socchi, they'll probably get named captain.

Obviously being biased, I picked Parise. I'm surprised Parise isn't being chosen more. He just seems like the perfect choice.

Brian Rafalski coming out of retirement will don the C. In 2014, he'll still be 39 when the Olympics is going on. He could do it.

I figured Parise would have this in a landslide, kind of surprised he's not.
