I am sure the guy probably got a kick out of Hartnell messing with him back too. He was just having fun with the guy, its not like he was trying to go over the glass haha.

I was waiting for this... do you realize how stupid this is? I noticed the guy in the first period slamming the glass and screaming. Hartnell turns around at the end of the game and does something completely harmless and it's a classless move because the guy has cancer? Are you ****ing kidding me?

Now yeh bylsma id send his fourth line out but they did not goon it up all they did was a perfect body check....Are they suppose to not hit when they have a guy with his head down just because there is 1min left and they are loosing the game ?
And Laviolette isn't super classy either breaking a stick on the pens bench...

this post makes no sense. If you've actually been watching this series awhile, you'd know that when the Flyers were routinely hammering the Pens, they were winning the fights too.
Second, I'm not sure anyone has a sense that the Pens won anything today, fights or otherwise (Ash didn't get much in on Schenn and Englland really did ease up on Simmonds, i.e., he didn't hit him in the face when he could of. Not much of a fight really.
You are right in one thing though, two important points for the Flyers.
I have a feeling Ron Burkle isn't going to run out of money like the old owner. That should help. As sad as it was, those were the best teams they could afford to put out there.

Laviolette is a jackass. He acts this way (maybe not to this extreme) every Pens game.

So since someone is "yelling"(which half of each bench was doing at the time) it's OK for someone to drop their gloves and swing at someone who is being blocked by a ref. I'll write that down for future reference.

Hell yeah! I think a few years ago, a Pens fan had a Fartnell jersey, and Hartnell signed it like that. Hate the Flyers, but the guy is awesome.
