Crosby was moping the rest of the game after the hit. Mission accomplished IMO.

You mean 7th in the league in avg attendance(Pens in 18th) and 13th in capacity(Pens in 15th). Man, you really told us. Pretty sad when you consider Pittsburgh had 105 points while the Flyers had 56.

Actually I'd say Pens and Flyers are the top 2 teams in the East right now. A shame one of them is out in the first round.

Because the big bad Flyers who are whining about a clean hit to Briere will just injure everyone on the Pens roster, right?

He obviously said something Asham did not like. And again.....Rinaldo was not on the bench, he was on the ice yapping and approaching the Penguins bench.

Hilarious to watch, great rivalry to enjoy as a neutral fan. Beautiful hit on Briere, by the way. I don't know why Lav was so worked up or even surprised about that.

May I also ass that Hartnell's Hulk Hogan impression of the fan behind the glass left me in tears.

Yep. Being restrained by a ref next to the Flyers bench is "approaching the Penguins bench". Does NBC in Pittsburgh have some reality distorting camera angles?

I'm all for the loser of this series beating the crap out of the winner. I suspect fans from all 6 of the other Eastern playoff teams feel the same.

The ref had a hold of him.......because he was trying to get closer to the Pens bench.

LOL. You mean the year that we sold out all but 3 games DESPITE having the worst record in the league? Good call.

As for the Pens fan glowing about 250 straight sellouts, the Flyers have sold out almost every game IN THEIR HISTORY. This includes 1989-1994 when they missed the playoffs. But yea, by all means, let's compare fan loyalty.

This. If he wanted to, Berube would've destroyed everybody on the Pens bench, including the players. I'm pretty sure The Chief is the only guy ever to beat Probert 3 times.
