Now that the Jets have officially been eliminated, is there another team you want to see succeed in the post-season? Your opinion may have changed now that the Jets have battled many of these playoff bound teams. Also seeing how there seem to be alot of Canadian fans supporting the Jets on this thread in the main board, im sorta leaning towards a Canadian team winning it all this year. http://hfboards.hockeysfuture.com/sh....php?t=1150561
Blues and Predators. Really like both teams. If I had decided not to follow the Jets after they left Atlanta, chances are Edmonton would be my number one, but the Preds or Blues would probably be number two. Huge fan of Tootoo. Dunno why. Possibly the fact that he's aboriginal. Also like Weber and Radulov. Really like Steen, Halak and Pietrangelo on the Blues.
I've been going for Vancouver and Montreal for the past few years, but after Vancouver's pathetic showing in the finals last year, it's hard to cheer for them, because you know you're gonna end up disappointed again.
As a Panthers fan, I would like to invite Jets Nation to please get behind our boys. We all hate Washington, and also, please get a note to your team to play some golf, go to the beach on Tuesday. We need that game. Thanks!

If you get 2pts out of Tues, I won't be completely heart-broken, but you guys have to earn it. No freebies here - consider it prep-work for the playoffs.
I'll be cheering for Florida to make a run - really like the turn-around the front-office managed this year, and would like to see you guys make some noise in the playoffs to represent the SE.
In a weird twist of fate.. I am sort of hoping to see Ovechkin turn his BS around and lead his team deep into the playoffs.. It's weird because I always loved to hate him before this last week or two..
Firstly.. Rooting for Sid
then Nashville, Ottawa, then Ovechkin, and then Toews.
I would like to see any of these teams eliminated in the first round:
Philly, Florida, St. Louis, San Jose, Dallas, Ny Rangers, Boston, New Jersey, Buffalo, Phoenix, Detroit.
After reading the thread on the main board and seeing how fans of almost every other team seem to hate us (except Vancouver), I don't really feel like rooting for any other teams.

In my opinion, only those that hate tend to post in those threads. There are many great fans in every fanbase - I don't assume that a few posters represent a complete fanbase. That's just me though.
After reading some stuff on the Preds forum, I still like their players, but their fans are full of it.
Go Blues. I need to interact with a bearable fanbase. The Blues game was one of the best games this year, and their fans were very respectful towards us afterwards. They've put up with a lot of crap these past few years, so they deserve some success.
Chances are, I'll end up getting back on the Canucks bandwagon again, but meh.

Really though who gives a flying ******* what other "fans" think of us and our team. They can't handle hearing their stars being booed? wow

The Panther fans have been pretty decent all year even though we were battling for position with them.
One of my big criteria is that I can't support teams that have diving as part of their team culture.
I really liked the Preds before we got the Jets back. I didn't know if I was going to be able to continue to cheer for them after reading the comments on their board, but I realized that I don't want people to paint Winnipeg and our fanbase by the actions of a few morons, so I will be the bigger person and continue to cheer for them.
The Blues could be another team in the West I could get behind.
In the East in would be neat to see Florida go on a run. I would hate to see all the smug "anti Canadian", and "southern hockey rocks" posts should that occur, but in light of my comments above, I'm not going to paint the entire fan-base by the actions of a few.
Other than that I just want to see some great match-ups (Pittsburgh vs Philly would be great). Once it get's closer I tend to pull for a team that A) I don't hate, and B) has the most guys on it that I really think deserve a cup.
The panthers were my team while the jets were gone. We finally get the jets back and the panthers finally make the playoffs, guess ill be cheering for them again!
1. Florida (watched quite a lot of their games this year and it feels like they are the team I know the most closely (other than the Jets) and don't hate)
2. Ottawa (team plays very entertaining hockey plus they are canadian)
3. Buffalo
4. St Louis (you gotta respect a team without any star players doing so well, I will especially root for them if they play against stacked teams like Detroit and especially Pittsburgh)
Maybe Vancouver? But I just haven't seen them play enough and I never got into the team when everyone in Winnipeg was bandwagoning the Canucks but I could see myself rooting for them in Stanley Cup finals if they make it there.
But I have little interest in the playoffs this year
Having a team back actually does the opposite for me since we are eliminated. I'm looking forward to watching good, stress-free hockey and hopefully some nasty rivalries.
