26th placed Toronto vs. 28th placed Montreal tonight.
A win for Montreal still leaves them 3rd overall in June.
A win for Toronto could move them from 5th to 8th overall.
Go Leafs Go!!!

I feel kind of guilty about how closely I've watched the Leafs draft rankings, and how invested I've become in them not getting a top pick. I really hope they win this one tonight.

2-0 Washington early in the 1st.
In the spirit of National Capital Bromanship, I hope they keep it up.

These team playoff slogans are terrible. Rev up the red, we see red, believe it, rep the red, rock the red... Have they got no imagination?

The most trouble Carolina has given the Panthers so far this year is taking them to overtime.
They'd better not start tonight.

I think, since the division is on the line, both Caps and Panthers will try their best to win the game.... which means to the 8th place for OTT which I don't mind at all.
I mean, who doesn't want home ice?

I'd imagine they'd go with Theo, unless they want to lose the division.

The Leafs allow a goal up 5 on 3.
Also, something most of you haven't considered:
We finish 8th... Better draft pick too.
With Washington winning and Florida getting a point, we would jump two teams for the draft.

lol i bet the whole sens team is watching this one
I mean going into Boston after that loss I think this team would feel pretty low and its been established we have a very hard time beating them. I think going against the Rangers will give the sens more relief/confidence although they are not by any means an easy team, the sens would have more of a chance/shot agaisnt them.
Hopefully Florida can do it!

Well, the game I was worried about the most if it came to this was WSH/NYR.
Still a lot of hockey left to be played though...
