So while im sitting here watching the end of the Houston Open, I can't stop thinking about what could be happening right now at Augusta one week from now. So pumped for Thursday to come.
Should be a good one. Tiger, Rory, Phil, Luke Donald all have wins already this season and are playing great golf.
Tiger hasn't finished lower than a tie for 6th in the Masters since 2005, I'd be pretty surprised if he wasn't hanging around the first page of the leaderboard on Sunday, but I think McIlroy is going to redeem himself from last year, he's playing great golf right now.
I don't think its wise for Mcilroy to have taken the last 3 weeks off before the masters. Last year he never played between his US Open victory and the Open and played pretty mediocre at Royal St. Georges.

This I agree with.
Another guy to watch is Keegan Bradley, he's been hanging around almost every tournament this year so far, only thing that has held him back has been his putting.
If Tiger wins or is in contention I will be happy, if Mickelson wins I wont (but I would be happy to see him blow it late), anyone else I will be indifferent.

Just got back in town after the Monday practice round. Yesterday's rain completely changes the complexion of the tournament. Prior to that the course was playing hard and fast, but it has softened up quite a bit. That's definitely to the advantage of the long and maybe not so accurate drivers of the ball, like a Mickelson.

Here's hoping for a warm dry weekend to firm the course back up...maybe throw in some breeze, make it really interesting!
im in a pool every year where you pick 5 golfers and the person with the lowest cumulative score amongst the 5 wins (lot of people in the pool but not sure what the payoff is for whoever wins). if any of your guys miss the cut, they get a score of +7 each remaining day (so basically ruining you). i took tiger, phil, rory, ye yang and justin rose. regardless though, im pulling for my boy gary woodland just like every other week.

That's a good idea, I'm going to start an HF one now (have picks in before 7 am est tomorrow)
I will take Choi, Scott, McIlroy, Westwood, and Kaymar
I'm not that big on watching Golf on television , but I never miss the Masters , such a great tournament , even for TV , less useless long distance shot that just don't work for TV and more iron play and chip.
I'm rooting for Phil Mickelson , but I wouldn't mind a big Tiger Wood performance.
