Carpentier is one of the worst hockey players I've seen. He's slightly better then Blouin and makes Gordie Dwyer look like an All Star. When a team is lacking in offense, I can't understand why Jarvis dresses both Ivanans and Carpentier?

Defence ....... Defence .............. Defence...............

He wanted to add some defence to the team even today.Plus , He knew that We were struggling badly offensively before the game.If I would be him I would try different combinations like Ward-Pleks-Kost or Higgins-Pleks-Kost... I don't know a combination who will create scoring chances every game.Today , our offence findind finally a way to score.

Its great to see the dogs get a win, however i wont take this as a sign of there offense coming together untill they can consistenly get some offense going. Its possible the other team just had a bad night, but non the less......its a step in the right direction, and yes great to see Higgins finally rewarded for his efforts............

By the way, does anyone know when the next dogs game is being shown on sportsnet? I have yet to catch a game....and im getting really frustrated.

I could have been in net for Hamilton. Everytime the Amerks had a chance, they shot it wide or found another way to screw it up.

Well it's nice to see the Dogs get a win and very nice to see Higgins get on the scoresheet. Hopefully this will get him going.

Nice to finally see the guys get a win. Hopefully they can put a nice string of wins together, and get their confidence back.

I'm glad that one of my two parties of the week was on... Wednesday even though I left early because I have some class tomorrow morning (was a lousy excuse ) I hope I'll be able to catch on the games.

Against which team will it be and who are their key players? Thanks!

If the Baby Leafs lose on Friday, I will resign as the head amateur scout and recruiter of the bWo and join the evil side, the side we call "Hab Land".

A feeble attempt at infiltration. You think we just fell off the turnip truck ?

Not sure that calling it the evil side will get you an invitation from most of us here. If anything, you'll just be stuck in limbo land enjoying hockey from a distance as the Toronto fans will call you a traitor and the Hab fans will call you a spy.

Spy?

I'll convert all the way and "troll" the Leafs forum with thought out (most of the time) posts and criticism.

As your first test of loyalty, you'll need to justify Kyle Wellwood's draft position in a new thread on the Leafs' board.

I actually thought Carpentier was one of the better Bulldog forwards on the ice yesterday.

Danis was impressive especially considering the Amerks had control for most of the game but as 27 said there weren't a ton of legitimate scoring chances against him.

Can't comment on the actual assist itself but considering he got the 2nd assist, it's easy to figure out he wasn't the one who provided the one timer. However, he might still have made a nice pass to whoever provided the one-timer pass.

Actually I think he got the first assist. When I heard it happen, it sounded like he went in back of the net and passed it to the front and the Carpentier did the one timer. That's how it sounded.
