Great stuff.

Would love Hartnell on my team. That fan has become pretty notorious in Pittsburgh. Has fought cancer and won. The Pens organization treats him well.

Not many of us were actually that pissed. We got good return. We were more shocked.

Hartnell has always had great spirit...but this season his game has matured in so many ways. Great player, great character.

I definitely wouldn't mind having him back in Nashville.

As for Timonen...definitely one of my all time favorite Preds. Not a Flyers fan by any means...but having those two definitely makes it easier to cheer for them at times in the East.

As a Pens fan, I give Fartsmell props on that troll job. 10/10 Subbans.

I'm sure Cy will have something good for him the next game. He always does.

Why would a grown man want to dress up and look like Hulk Hogan?

No one really questioned the value of the trades, but losing 2 great 2 way centers and replacing with an 4 younger players was risky. Luckily the Flyers young players have excelled

It's his shtick. He used to look a lot more like the real Hulk Hogan prior to getting cancer. He's been doing it for years. Cy has lost a lot of weight over the past few years battling cancer a few times.

He's a real down to earth guy who just loves hockey and has fun with it.

This is well put.

But ya he's kind of a hero around here. Pretty cool story. He just loves the pens and has battled cancer twice

Scott Hartnell is one of my favorite players.

In the "player you pick to have a beer with"... I chose him.

He just seems to have so much character... the jersey story with "fartsmell"... suckitphanuef... hartnelldown... now this??

Hartnell is a player who is never a superstar, but after he is retired he will still be remembered for his antics.

edit: wow, just watched that video... touching stuff. Well done Pittsburgh organization!!... I have noticed him there often too, sort of like the viking and hat guy in Boston... the sign guy in philly... or that crazy dude who wears a hockey helmet with a siren on top to team Canada games, Cy is a reconizable/frequent fan. That's a really nice story all round.

Wish I could find the radio interview he did around the same time as this on DVE.

He talked about going to his first game in 1967, and how he got picked on at school, since he was the only kid wearing a Pens shirt in the 70's during the Steelers glory years.

1967 was his first game. It was in an interview he did.

Great story on the fan......didn't know that about him and thought he was some yahoo. Loved the move by Hartnell but also glad the fan has a sense of humor. This Saturday could be ....well you know.

Cool story about the fan, glad Pitt showed him a great day, definite class move.

That said, **** the Pens and I can't wait for the playoffs.
