I will be cheering for the Preds. I was pulling for them in the past and with Goose there now obviously I would like to see him do well.
I generally cheer for the underdog in every series unless I really like the favorite. There are few teams that will cause my latent hate for them to bubble up just by watching them play in a series. Obviously I will then start cheering against them
Every time a Boston team wins a championship, Bill Simmons gets a little more insufferable.
So true, can barely read him anymore. He only started writing anything about the Bruins and hockey when they won the cup. Same with Patriots ten years ago. Typical ESPN frontrunner.
Would be painful to see Dineen do well, considering he should have replaced Ruff last year.
I wonder how Dineen would have done with this current roster?
He may have sucked big time! You don't know for sure. We will never know for sure. Grass may or may not be greener. You can assume (which you are it seems). But Dineen or any coach for that matter may not have as good or as bad a record as Ruff has this season.

Unlikely.
When he only had one line of offense for the first half of the season, he rode the **** out of that line until it got him to the playoffs. Lindy derped around giving Roy, Leino and Stafford more ES time than Vanek and Pominville despite the fact that those two guys were the only forwards with pulses for games 1-40.
to the OP, how can you even call yourself a fan if you fold it up when it matters most? no, they're not out at all yet. a game in hand? 2 points back? i've heard sweeter comeback stories than that. if they don't win tonight, then and ONLY then will i root for the preds.

Now time for my list, as the Sabres bandwagon is emptying.
Nashville--good for Goose and that fanbase
Vancouver
LA (although it would be nice if they got back to being the team I really liked the past couple years...then again I don't really like Richards or Carter...)
Florida
