Well that Weber-Suter pairing is likely to become Weber-Someone Else because Suter is probably gone after this year. Oh well. And speaking of Garrison I've liked watching his progress as he came in right as I was getting involved with the organization and I thought he had some good tools right away.

I just found out why the team hasn't won in its last few games.

Quote:
“You know what? This community and our fans deserve this, and our players know it,” Panthers President Michael Yormark said Monday. “I’ve been traveling with the team for the last week and they feel it, they know it. These fans have supported us for so long. We’ve got a core and this core stuck with us. And so the opportunity to clinch at home in front of hopefully a really good crowd … would be thrilling.”
someone hand him a parachute and a life raft and kick him out of the plane next time they're over the Atlantic!

It doesn't appear to be sold out yet, not sure if it will. Hopefully there's at least 17,000 though.

****** shame I have to work tonight. Promise to raise the roof whoever goes, and blow it off in the postgame celebration!

The market/media as it is down here, I'm not sure a Tuesday night game will sellout, but there should be a good crowd. Wednesday would have been brutal with the Marlins opening night and the Heat hosting OKC.

GO CATS GO!

Because the bandwagon fans show up AFTER season ends and playoffs start. Then all the rich people buy tickets and us die hard seasoners get crapped on because we can't afford post season tickets.

I remember standing in line the season after our cup run, hoping to get lotto picked, just to buy a single game ticket.

In Miami, " if you win, they WILL come!"

The image in my head after reading that made me lol pretty hard. Would love see the headlines in the newspaper if that ever happened.

Really anxious and excited for tonIght and happy to finally be playing a meaningful game where we have the chance to clinch something after 12yrs of failure! Feel like a 10yr old right now(no jokes plz)!

Also, just a heads up, the GDT for Thursday's game against Washington will be up immediately following tonight's game. Want to give you guys enough time to check everything out because I have a ton of stuff in there!

I think you should wait a day with the GDT, just in case we want to talk about what happens tonight (just my opinion).

Anyways, I think the team should get Duke Evers to go speak to the team before they take the ice tonight

Woke up this morning and immediately thought of the big night tonight. Man it's awesome playing meaningful hockey this late in the season. It's a real nice change in pace.

I've never been this excited for a Panthers game before. There is so much meaning attached to tonight's game that it just feels odd. I guess I should get used to it the way this team is headed.

I'll be screaming my head off from the 400's.

LET'S GO PANTHERS!!

Seconded. I currently sit in my "international macroecon class" up at UF on the north side of the state and I have the desire to calmly explain to my teacher that I should be excused from class today on account of my inability to pay attention.

GO CATS GO!!!

Yesterday, there was a little less than 2,000 tickets available on Stubhub, now there are only 197 left I WANT NOISE TONIGHT!!!!!!!!

Anyone else an emotional F'NG wreck right now? Can a man really get teary eyed from a sports franchised? The last time I actually cried for this team, was when we got eliminated in 97, by the Rangers I believe. I CANNOT wait until tonight!

Dude I'm soooooo down if they would have the game on there (but they won't).

@pantherflames-- we should totally meet up. Do you have the ability to watch the game live? Or do you rely on streams like I do most nights?

EDIT: it's just been decided: my dad lives about 15 mins north out of town but he has center ice so I'm going to head up there for the game. If you (pantherflames) need a place to watch it you are more than welcome to tag along.

Love the GDT!!!!

Wow at 4 pages and it's only the morning. This must be an important game or something I don't remember the last time we had a GDT get to 4 pages before the game actually started.

Here's how I see it:
- win and we win the division. lose and we open the door for the Caps to steal it.
- There needs to be some PAYBACK for the thumping we took last time we played these guys. Barch needs to answer Stuart for the punch to the back of the head on our guys last game.
- for the sake of not having a heart attack it would be really really nice to play the caps next game and not have to care one bit how it turns out.

JUST WIN TONIGHT!!!!! I don't care if it's 1-0 or 5-4 in a SO. JUST WIN!!!!!

LETS GO PANTHERS!!!!

thanks Dbh ya i have gamecenter in my apartment. Better believe it is going to be loud and festive tonight. Got a couple of guys coming over to watch the game and it might get roudy with a victory.

I feel like tonight is our version of the stanley cup game 7

I will be at the BAC for the home playoff games but if you need a place to watch for the road away games hit me up.
