Not sure about who's starting. I just took the lines from each team's last games until I can find the real lines for tonight. If anybody could guide me to where I can find them, I'd love them. I know Oilers website has the ones there, but I've seen they can take a while to update sometimes.

LA toyed with us just a couple of days ago and we've lost our 2 best d-men since then. You probably won't be able to count on any help from us unless Dubnyk steals the game.

And great GDT indeed. Well done

Well played!

Ryan Smyth looks like Uncle Rico.
Justin Williams...well thats how I remember all my friends dads looking growing up.
Willie Mitchell looks like a bad-ass 80's action star.
Dubynk = Rod Beck.

I'd proclaim him as a #1 going into the offseason and quietly go about acquiring a quality goaltender to push for the starting job.

I think if Dubbie ends the season well, theres no harm in stroking his ego and growing his confidence in the offseason.

But make no mistake, we haven't seen a consistent performance out of Devan yet for any substantial period of time. I wouldn't be putting all my eggs in his basket if I was management and I truly believe that the #1 concern over the offseason should be to solidify the goaltending position.

To be perfectly fair he hasn't received game starts on a consistent or regular basis for a substantial period of time either

True, but it's hard to say he's deserved it until recently.

Totally agree with you Here's to hoping he turns into a solid goaltender for our team.

He had a pretty brutal stretch a while back.

By a while back do you mean November?

Every goalie has has a rough stretch at some point. Dubnyk has been very good in 2012.

Exactly, i don't get this talk about him just starting to play well and some were saying that the Anaheim game was his breakout game. The guy has played well for a couple of months now. He had some inconsistencies with some mental lapses in that stretch as most young goalies do but by and large, he has been consistently good for a solid 25 game stretch.

We either get pounded tonight or if they can't score slowly squeezed lifeless by Quick. Don't see how we win this one with personnel issues and the Kings needing it so bad.

Although playing spoiler and winning with the Nuge getting a few points would be a fantastic evening.

I've gotta say, some of these suit the players very well. Hemsky looks like he's had that stache all his life, and Eberle just looks vintage NHL. Quick looks comfortable in that look too.

Awesome GDT

Looks like I'm gonna be at work by the time official lines are up anywhere. I got pictures of some extra players in my reply near the bottom of the first page if a mod feels like changing them once I'm at work.

Parros's Pornstache needs to somehow get traded to this GDT.

Nice GDT. Enjoyed that, probably more than I will the game.

What is this California division week? We got a B-ball game with the Clippers scheduled as well?..

As a fan I'm just going through the motions. I figure I should watch because it could be forever since we'll see another Oiler game(who knows when or if next season happens due to potential CBA impasse) and I suspect at somepoint I'll miss Oiler hockey. Right now there just isn't any purpose to the games other than ending season and determing odds for the top pick.

Last night was excruciatingly boring. I actually missed Omark.

I'm dedicating my 1000th post to a multi-point game for RNH!

I know the Calder doesn't really matter but I think it would be great if he could win it. Been awhile since I've seen an Oiler holding a major award.

lol good stuff

How does Petrell sit? I don't know if there has been an Oiler who has consistently brought it more than he has this year. I thought it was bull when they sent him down and its bull when they sit him over a lot of other guys that are hot and cold like the taps on my kitchen sink.

They better re up this guy. About as good as it gets for a 4th liner in this league. And with more confidence and experience could grow into a very valuable shutdown third liner.

Of course every time I beak off I find out later he pulled his groin or something. lol I don't care. I'm owly. lol Is owly even a word? It damn well should be.

I'm loving Green, Eberle and Barker. haha.

I'm guessing Hordichuk, MPS and Hartikinen might look like that sometime in the future. Looking slick.
