And what position has Kadri been playing this entire season with the Marlies? And his entire career in junior? And what position does Leafs management, according to Dudley and Dreger, believe Kadri will ultimately play with the Leafs?

Hint, it starts with a C.

Kadri has been playing another position a lot this season.

Hint, it starts with a W.

The tank did get stronger.. Colborne is a pretty big downgrade from grabovski.

And they should all be in goalie equipment so it's harder to move, if one of them gives up a bad goal we just go to the next.

Put Gus on defense. Imagine him going behind the net to get the puck.

If the Leafs were in a race right now, you bet your ass they would have called up Kadri. They just want to take a last look at Colborne.

Considering we never finished anywhere better than 21st with the great Grabo. Yes it is a slightly stronger tank going with the rookie.

Nice post, best clandestine troll post!

Yeah but we also had a lot of Centres on the team this year in Bozak, Lombardi, Connolly, Steckel and Grabovski.

Pretty tough as a 21 year old to be playing C if you're the #6 guy.

I know!!! It's almost as if they want the Marlies to keep winning and ride a hot streak into the playoffs!! WTF!!!

Also what the heck kind of development system spreads NHL experience around!! Geez! Why not just focus on one player!!

LOL - I always find it amazing how a board that always shouts for tanks and the slow rebuild, where prospects >> proven players, etc - will soooo quickly give up on a 21 year who has a rough month or two.

Is there any reason why you are saying this? Or would you say that about any call up?

It is quite impressive really. All draft picks are Sidney Crosby, until they aren't Sidney and then they are busts that should be discarded immediately for scraps.

Did it every dawn on anyone, that we brought Colborne up INSTEAD of Kadri, because they were worried Kadri might contribute? Kadri is on fire, Colborne can't buy a point, looks like a tank related decision. It's fine, glad to see Colborne come up, maybe it will rekindle something, but this move reeks of other motivations. Let Carlyle see the kid, but know that he isn't exactly super confident, a plus for TANKING.

These are just emergency call ups. They are probably just going round robin to reward some of these guys for their efforts on the Marlies. No sense in reading into it further than that.

Probably a great way to boost the morale in advance of a Calder playoff run.

Hopefully Colborne can have a solid couple games and feel good about himself. That way he has some good confidence heading into the playoff run! Btw, are the Marlies playoff games going to be on LeafsTV HD?

I agree with this. Just might re-energize Colborne for the playoffs with the Marlies.

Agreed with Carlyle wanting to see more players. What really happened to Colborne was that he was hurt a bit which is why he missed the all star game and Phillipe Dupuis and Nazem Kadri have taken the 1/2 centre role. Colborne is playing with D'Amigo and Scott on the 3rd line so his ice time and PP time is restricted (though he has been getting more pp time lately. He does need to create more offence with his shot though but I think his skating has looked good

inb4 I am quoted to be Cherry's rep but,

Colborne is going to learn nothing in these 3 games. Neither does it help Marlies, Leafs or Colborne. Bringing up Zigo actually rewards him with NHL pay for a week as a reward for his work with Marlies this season.

This organisation baffles me

I'm pretty sure Zigo is on a special pay scale where he gets well paid to play on the Marlies.
