Best thing for the hawks is to lose the rest of their games and take 6th place. Third seed will be the easiest matchup. No point in pushing for 4th and ending up with 5th seed. Definitely wont be an upset when you beat the 3rd seed. Your teams top players are so potent. They can create something Out of nOthing and they all have really nice shots. The Canucks are a solid team but our Players shots kinda suck.

If LA wins tonight, San Jose is out of contention for the 3.

Just like last year when folks here wanted to play Canucks first round. It was nosensical. We almost pulled it out, but it was a death wish. Better to meet them when they get softened up a bit. Preds are THAT team this year.
I know it’s not easy for the players and you don’t go asking them to lay down; it is walking a fine line but you rest your stars for sure. I’d sit CC, Hossa, Kane, Seabs, Bolland for starters.

Phoenix beat StL tonight so take over the 3rd seed with 95 points.

So with the 4 seed not being an option, how do you folks think the Hawks will approach tomorrows game?
I expect both teams will actually play to win, but won't be too upset if they lose.
would be a really interesting game if both teams truly wanted the 6 seed and you had a South Park Little League type situation...

Bollig is gonna try and get a Gordie Howe Hat Trick x3 so he can fight the guy in your avatar, both are maniacs. Get ready for a great series.

Im not so sure Toots will go after Bollig again... at least not willingly... he got his ass handed to him last time...
but it would be cool to see some fights in the playoffs for a change

Hawks won't try to lose this game. They don't fear the preds or the Sharks or the Yotes
