You must have gotten lucky. I bought them the day of. That was the cheapest left for that game.

Ok that makes some sense then, I got them the day before and there were a bunch upstairs for $60 and we decided for an extra $3 why not get downstairs seats (came to $70 with fees) so I'd assume by the time you looked a good portion of those seats were already gone

Think we should be in decent shape this round $$ wise, Fla isn't an overly attractive opponent

Night game I would imagine.

Too many NBC ***** matchups to give us a 1PM start on NBC.

Cheapest mezzanine seat has a sth cost of a little under $50/game. My guess is you may find some folks here (or on FB) offering up extras for something closer to $50 rather than $80.

If I have any extras , I will only look to recover my cost (and, if FL is the opponent, I would think many others will as well)

Sunday afternoon is usually a "feature" game ... if the Devils are playing the Caps, I suppose it's possible. Devils/Panthers will be played at 3am local time and no cameras will be allowed inside.

I fully understand that Florida would bring significanty less fans to The Rock than Washington, but am I hearing it right that Devils fans would be less excited for playoff hockey if it is vs the Panthers rather than the Caps?

The Hurricanes visited and all 4 games were sold out to my knowledge so i dont think it matters. Its been 2 years since playoff hockey. Just win.

These prices are generally too expensive for what this market and economy will bear. Upcoming attendance failure imminent.

What are they charging for lower level (not Clubs)?

Here is the link where you can see pricing for every seat.

Agree that box office pricing appears to be too high.

$110 to $133 to sit lower level corner and behind the nets
$150 to sit next to the Clubs.

For the Florida Panthers.

Yeah, check StubHub, this forum for promo offers or season ticket holders selling extras, or if anything the $51 corner upper level sections, the views are really not that bad.

It would be higher than $46, which is the season ticket holder price in the balconies and 200 level.

As for StubHub, unless the brokers with lots of inventory do a ticket dump, I don't think prices will get that low because I do not think there will be that much inventory already sold to begin with.
I don't think too many STHers bought extra playoff tickets, they will be attending the games themselves.
StubHub may have higher than thought pricing, unless as I mentioned, brokers bought a lot and don't want to eat them.

There's a big difference between being 'less excited' and 'less willing to spend premier prices for a first round game'. I'll be at every home game in the playoffs, but I won't be any less excited for the road games I'll be watching on TV, especially Game 1.

No, but they'll be offering $50 with a $10 f/b card and people will be complaining that's 'less' than sth price.

I think the StubHub prices will be bad compared to face value, but not nearly as bad as Game 1 Carolina a couple years ago. First off, it's Game 3 of a series, not Game 1...and that also means there's a few days more for people to buy tickets and demand to go up.

These ticket prices have to be a bad April Fool's joke. $67 to sit in seats that no one was buying when they were $40? Really? C'mon Devils.

i know!

i had my partial plan in 227, it was a graduation gift from my parents. i just can't afford at those prices and i don't feel like mooching off my parents to sit in the upper deck.
