Elmira-Trenton actually holds the longest ECHL game, set back in 2009. This game would have to go approx. 7 minutes into the 4th OT to become the longest ECHL game ever.
Tarkir scores for SC to win it. Elmira-Trenton retain the record.
Stingrays just need to lose already. Sounds like they are getting outplayed pretty badly. Wouldn't be surprised if it ends soon.
Funny thing is. Trenton BADLY outplayed Elmira in OT in their game but Teslak was unreal. Also Trenton bounced back and won the next night in an offensive slugfest.
Wow, Glads just scored but the ref disallowed it. Said it was batted in. Rays PBP guy was going nuts.
Talk about an emotionally draining game. I didn't get a good look at replay to see what happened on the goal that was waived off. Some seem to think it went off an SC dman. Does the ECHL use video replay for situations like that?
Good season for the Road Warriors. I think they peaked too early. Can't give Florida enough credit they pretty much dominated every thing about the series. Florida is a dangerous team imo.
I have a stupid question. Well it may seem that way anyway.
At the end of our Game tonight Reading Goalie Mark Owuya in the dying seconds blatantly knocked the net over. I mean it tipped over completly. He got no penalty or anything, i'm not sure if the refs missed it, thought the game was over anyway so it didn't matter or what have you, but could that lead to a suspension or something?

Yeah, if we comeback and win we play them next. Hate that matchup.
At the 2:30 mark of the video it definitely looks like the puck went off the Stingray's shoulder/back. Why this wasn't reviewed in the arena I don't know.

Well, I don't like Elmira evening the series at 2-2 at all. I was hoping to attend at least a few more games this season in Reading. Every Reading road game is carried live on a local community channel here in Berks County, Pennsylvania, so I did see the last two periods of Saturday's game.
GMR, what was the attendance at Saturday's game? I am not making fun, because I know that playoff attendance sucks everywhere in the ECHL, but it looked really empty for a Saturday night.

I know here the local schools are on springbreak and like 95% of Chemung County it seems always flocks to Myrtle Beach.
Wouldn't expect much better Monday. BUT WOW...I cant believe we have come back. I do think we will win and Reading has used up their 9 lives. Tonight early in the 2nd the Royals had about 6 consecutive minutes of Powerplay time and couldn't score. That seemed like the difference in the game.

Eek, 1,597 on a Saturday night. I knew it didn't look too full on television.
I knew there was a bus going from Reading on Friday night, but didn't think they would have enough people for two buses. When I went to the game on Wednesday night, the P.A. announcer mentioned several times during the evening that the Booster Club was running a trip to Elmira for $22 (I assume ticket not included). That seemed like a great deal with gas at $4 a gallon, but I knew the bus would have to leave before I got out of work on Friday to make it to Elmira by game time.

Would like to thank the Booster Club then for reviving us. That place was loud last night and I think a team that was on the brink felt it and played like it.
