6 weeks would be the end of the 2nd round if they both went to 7-games.

Best case scenario:

1 week before playoffs
2 weeks for Round 1 (requires at least one 7 game series)
1 week for games 1-3 in Round 2.

He will play by game 4-6 of Round 2 if possible.

Who gets the call in his place?

Can't have Cam or Boulton.

I hate the be the guy Zharkov guy, but I think it has to be him. Teddy isn't ready for the grind especially on defense, Mills is a nice role player (at best). Zawelski could be another one I guess. I think it's time unfortunately to see Zhark

Best case Jo gets the under and we see him mid-second round. I'm not one to really over- exaggerate, but I really think this injury could hurt us. Yayo was playing very good in his role, basically giving us the ability to roll a competent extra line that can contribute and take away minutes that previously had to be covered by the top 3.

Ya Yo would put us around the start of the Conference Finals should we get there.

Then again wasn't Tallinder 6 to 8 weeks? I think we're currently at around 10 weeks on that one with no end in sight of him being ready to be back in the lineup.

That was a handsome 4th line too. Carter is really good when you give him competent players like Josefson, and Bernier. I think big guys like Bernier, Poni, and Zubrus provide that size, and physical depth that Janssen, and Boulton are supposed to provide or so we hear.

Carter has scored 3 times before the other night, but I don't think he was on the 4th line for any until the other night. Josefson scored on that 4th line against Tampa Bay also.

i dont like carter as 4th line center, much better fit to play wing IMO. based on his time as a centerman this season, he isnt good enough on the defensive side of things and gets caught out of position a lot in the d-zone.

I'm annoyed that Yayo is out again. Poor guy.

I think either Boulton will play, or they'll call up Mills or Sestito.

I think it's unlikely. He doesn't really belong on the fourth line.

I'm pulling this from the GDT, and I'm not saying it's the best available option but...

The need for a defensively responsible forward to take over for Josefson seems pretty unanimous around here.
Why then, is Harrold a bad option for this position? I'm pretty sure he's filled in as a forward before.

If they manage to get set up, Harrold can work the point. He's got a nice shot from there. He actually gets it on net. Then you can let one of the defense with a softer shot like Greene or Fayne go in and pinch more.

Everyone seems to like what he's done defensively, and Larsson has gotta come back sooner or later.

Why not?
We're not looking for someone to replace a Zajac or an Elias. We're looking for someone who can responsibly eat up 10 minutes a night.

I know seriously. What is Pandolfo even doing in the NHL still? I keep forgetting it was caused by him. I'm sure it was an accident, but thanks for the payback Pandolfo. I guess since he wasn't good enough to be on our fourth line neither is Josefson.

Why does Chico always have a boner for Pandolfo every single telecast? Every time we play them all I hear about is Pandolfo from him. Steve too sometimes, but not so much. That's all we hear about. We don't hear about Maclean during the Carolina game, and we didn't hear about Rolston the whole game against Boston.

Pretty sure Pandolfo is talked about more than Niedermayer when we would play Anaheim. Alright maybe as much as Niedermayer, and Gomez too.

I'd rather not put a defenceman in a forward slot. Playing Zharkov is better than that. But since he won't be called up, I have no idea what will happen.

harrold reminds me of the type of guy that is a hockey player first and defenseman second. he thinks the game as a whole, not just as a defenseman. that's the reason he made it to the nhl in the first place with a fairly lackluster skill set. honestly the only option i like better than him is zharkov, and we all know how likely that is.

So what you're saying is tank games 4, 5, and 6 in round 1?
