That's probably it for the Stars. Oh well, they had a chance with Benn.

Dammit.

You fail, Stars.

Die in a fire Souray. Die in a fire Robidas. Die in a fire Jerrard/Gully.

The most abominable top defensive pair this team has had in the past 10 years. And yet they're still there.

Isn't that the story of our season?

We'll have a golden scoring chance, and then they score?

Well better luck next year.

I'd like to add Ribeiro to that list if he's going to give the piss poor effort he's given ever since the Calgary loss.

Presuming the Panthers make it, the only teams with longer playoff droughts are: Winnipeg/Atlanta, Toronto, Islanders and Oilers

Some esteemed company that

They can't even give a decent effort in the dying minutes of their season.

If I was GM Joe I'd have left the building by now, and the only question would be which of these ****ers gets to try out for the team next season.

Gotta think offseason plans have to include improvement on the PP as the #1 priority. Whether that means top 6 acquisitions, coaching changes, or a mixture of both, I'm down.

This team is infuriating. They can't play with a sense of urgency at the right time, ever. Tonight they decided to come out hard because they knew this is the last chance they have to control their destiny, they should have come out hard against Calgary. They go down 2 goals in this game and THEN decide to go balls out, they should have done this from that 5 on 3 failure on, or at the very least at 3-2. This team doesn't deserve to make the playoffs, even if they do it'll be out of sheer stupid luck and they'll probably just get killed anyway.

On the bright side we might get to see Reilly Smith now that our season is basically over and he can't hurt us with his non-veteran-ness.

You know as well as we all do that Gulutzan will spew some **** about "mathematically in it" and will still use this horrible veteran laden setup.

EN goal. 5-2.

If you're relying on this club to show up when it matters you will be disappointed. That's been the case for three if not four seasons. Changes must be made. Sorry for you guys who gave yourselves hope. This must be a punch in the gut.

14th pick for the win! Yay!

The biggest problem isn't coaching IMO. Its personnel. Souray was good for the first 10 games of the season and fell off the map. Teams know he is going to shoot and his shot isn't very accurate. Goligoski is the only guy with any skill at it. Daley is an ok guy for a 2nd unit. Robidas has lost more than a step. Oh and we only have 4 top six forwards.

Ralph shut up, were definitely out. This team is a joke and has been ever since Morrow returned to the line up.

He's had some seriously inept line matches throughout the season. Gulutzan doesn't know what to do with players he's dealt with all year. It's retarded.
