There were 9 school shootings (3 of which had no victums) with 11 victims in 2010. There were also 134,656 schools with 55,203,000 total students.

They happen all the time!

As a society we need to fix the why and worry about punishing the 100 million US gun owners for this very rare action later.

Way to overlook the other 100,000 people killed or injured by firarms every year.

Clearly the solution to all those deaths and injuries is more guns.

Far too late for gun control, already more guns than people in the US.

Well they're not kids inside schools, so who cares?

According to a report on Fox News, he was disturbed by being mocked by other students because of his Asian accent.

That's actually less than I would have assumed, percentage wise, given the large population and number of guns owners.
But I'm not trying to make a cheap point. I can't imagine the parents of the victims would find much comfort in that.

Again, it's not a stat that the familes will take comfort in, but that's about 0.00033% of the population. Furthermore, of that 100,000, 11,000 were homicides.

http://www.thestar.com/news/world/ar...-administrator

The article said that the shooter didn't go into detail as to why he was upset with some of the students, but said that he went to the school specifically to find an administrator.
