Kinda makes you think were in for the 10 year rebuild.

This team completely flat lines without Taylor Hall. It's disturbing.

Oh and I still can't believe we're seeing efforts like tonight in year #3 of the rebuild.

Agreed. Omark isn't the answer. Unfortunately, Smyth will be back. Imagine if they sign him for more than one year?

With Lowe pulling the strings anything is possible.

Sounds like it was a snoozer of a game, glad I was playing Mass Effect 3 instead.

I feel so stupid for thinking that they might come out in the third blazing, completely balls out to try and be a spoiler. Nope, down the whole third period and sitting back playing prevent defence. Anytime we had the puck it's like our offensive players were genuinely surprised to have it going the other way.

The refs gave us our makeup call finally and of course we just crapped it down the tubes.

Did Ryan Smyth have money on the game tonight? Does he still play for the Kings? Because it sure looked like it after trying to rub Dubnyk out and then breaking up Oilers offensive chance after offensive chance.

I'm so mad. If I were a season ticket holder, what would be the reason to renew, what will be the breaking point before that building is half empty? How could it get worse? So mad, so tired of it.

Dubnyk was in full spoiler mode and we just played like junk. Two nothing games to end the season. Woohoo. I don't even care if hockey comes back now.

I think we'll need 6 more years of "Oilers Hockey" to field a give-a-puck team.

Hemsky played the entire game without skates on. He runs very well on the ice.

Gagner. Abysmal.

4-min PP with the chance to seize a game. Frittered away.

3 games left in the season and a chance to win this 18-year old kid a piece of hardware. Nobody shows up. RNH, who's your teammate? Certainly not the Edmonton Oilers.

Need defensemen who can play defense and also contribute offensively.. need a second line.. need veterans who can do something other than occasionally win a faceoff..

There are not enough lottery picks in the world.

I thought Schultz was good tonight, Teubert was decent as well. Dubnyk, looking better and better as the season goes on.
Now we have a top 3 draft spot locked up, thats a positive at least.

Veterans: We need to get rid of Horcoff, Belanger, Smyth, at the very least. Possibly dump Khabby if another team gets desperate and will take a chance on him. Whitney, I want to see what he has first after a full summer of rehab. Also, we need a 2C with some size, so that mean Gagner is probably done as well.

On the bright side our Veteran players were absolute **** tonight.

They put on a stellar display of offensive suck only rivaled by collapsing supermassive black holes this evening.

Yzerman became captain at 20 years old. Hall is 20 years old. I'm just sayin' there is precedent. (Won't happen on this team though).

...Bryan Rodney. Remember that name - because I won't.

Draft Ryan Murray. We need a guy that can complete a ****ing breakout pass.

Most of the normal defense was injured, today isn't the day to be critical of that end of the ice...

Oilers clinch the #5 pick or better in the draft (even after the draft lottery). The highest the Oilers can finish now is 27th out of 30 teams. These losses are annoying but drafting Murray will help me soothe some pain.

I'd rather have a decent 2nd line center.

It's not exactly an issue that's sprung up overnight.
