Despite the fact that this season has been rather disappointing, I'm still sad to see it end. These last few remaining futile games are depressing. Still, if there was any hope for massive improvement next season, at least we'd have that to look forward to. As it stands now, even the draft won't be that exciting.

Anyway, fantastic job as always Law! Here's hoping we don't get killed out there tonight.

In the sort of good news file, Tampa Bay beat Washington making it less likely we'll catch the Lightening and get a lower lottery pick. What really made that game even better is that it hurt the "Dale Hunter" Capitals in their quest to lockup the final playoff spot.

On a side note, ran into a bunch of Oilers fans here in DTLA last night. They're just as embarrassed as we are in our respective teams. The lost to the Kings 2-0 at Staples.

It's funny when you realize that this is the time of year Islander fans follow other teams, not to see if the Isles can catch them in a playoff race, but to try and see what position the Islanders will get in the draft.

This game is a win-win for me. If we win, then its exciting and the Devils officially finish 4th in the division which means we will see a Flyers-Penguins series for sure. If we lose then we maintain a top 5 pick towards a better player who can help us in the future. It really is a win-win.

I really want to see a Flyers-Penguins series. That is just looking to be epic.

As a hockey fan, I'd love to see that series happen. As a mod though, it would be a nightmare.

Not a Star Wars fan at all, but I just marvel at how Law puts these together game after game, each one better than the last. At least on these boards, our GDT is one of the few areas where the Isles lead the league in a good way.
