Crosby and Malkin are dirtier than Matt Cooke!
They also have a ***** coach who was afraid to fight Laviolette and tried to hide behind his tougher assistant. Am I doing it right?

Can't wait for the series! Whiny fans are fun, but whiny analysts are funtastic. It's damn shame Pronger is injured

Thank you. This, this, one thousand times this.

Bobby Clarke was a hero for breaking some ankles. Now every slash is a crime against humanity.

If Crosby is a whiner for responding to the media's question about what happened, what's this make Berube?

Deep down, Pens are classless from top to bottom, but I kind of like stars that play mean and a little dirty. Especially this time of year. I mean, star players going after the other teams star players? That's awesome! lol

Obviously Berube is just tugging on the refs heart strings, trying to set them up for minors. If the Pens savvy veteran stars (at 24,25? yup) can rattle the Flyers young stars WITHOUT getting thrown in the box, well than why not do that? They have the dirtiest player in the game there to mentor them so why not?

Hockey is not a gentleman's sport. Some of you folks would absolutely have hated the game in the 80s and 90s.

There is so much comedy in here, the writers of Goon should have waited for Berube's input.
This.. all of it.. The flyers just need to shut their mouths and the samething could be said for the penguins. Let the anticipation brew for saturday.

But it's not the 80s or 90's and when I see my teams players get penalties and supplementary discipline and Crosby and Mallin do the same stuff and or worse all game and get nothing, there is something wrong.

Also, Malkin is very dirty. I remember his cheap shot to Wayne Simmonds in LA a couple years ago. I forgot about that... I wonder if Simmonds has.

I agree that discipline needs to be more consistent. I was only commenting on the fact that there is a nightly thread debating the classiness of a player.

Crosby is more of a whiner than he is dirty.

Malkin is a bit dirty but I like the way he goes about it. He isn't one to yap.

Who cares though, seriously? It's a rivalry. Of course **** is going to be said from both sides.

Wow the Penguins must a really clean team then if a couple of whacks and hacks every once in a while is the dirtiest they can do the Pens deserve a medal of honour .But seriously this just shows Berube isnt the sharpest tool in the shed.

I just think it's funny that Crosby does all the same stuff Briere does, except Briere gets called for it, and Flyers fans have no delusions about what he does, nor do they try to rationalize it.

Malkin is worse than both though. He's probably the dirtiest star player in the league. Unless Hartnell counts as a start now. Then they're tied.

Considering how much hfboards hates 'whiners' we sure do whine a lot ourselves .

Crosby hasn't got close to Briere's stick work yet.

What does Briere have against Danes?

OV's the dirtiest star player in the league if he still counts as a star.
