Also, some Sabres fans on their board are defending McNabb. He's good player, but come on. Even if we swapped the prospects and I would still defend Hishon.

If I were a Ducks fan I'd barf.

Kadri has failed everytime he's been called up. MacArthur and Bozak are easily replaceable scoring depth. No opinion on Blacker.

Doan is going to the Sharks.

Leafs are better off tanking again and drafting high, because they aren't landing Getzlaf (despite his lackluster season) for that.

Wow, I definitely did not remember that the Stars were in the Conference Finals as recently as 2008. Holy crap. It seems way longer than that since they've been relevant.

Yep. My 5 year old talks about being afraid of the Sun exploding and engulfing the Earth and how we need to find a new Earth to live on before that happens (in a few billion years). 4 years ago he was crapping his pants, could barely walk, and had just recently started drinking from a sippy cup and sleeping through the night. To some, 4 years is a long time.

Yeah, I'm in my fourth year of college and even I think that's crazy recent considering how irrelevant I've considered them for the longest time.

I hope I never raise a five year old to be that intelligent at that point in time.

You should tell him that it is statistically more likely that we're wiped out by a yellowstone eruption or a large asteroid before the sun turns into a red giant.

Better yet, just say "Higgs boson. 2012." He's smart. He'll figure it out.

When you're in grad school for 6+ years, it doesn't seem too long

When's our development camp starting? I'm bored and looking at the ones for other teams.

Some interviews with Minnesota prospects. I love the Minnesotan accent lol, this guy's voice reminds me of Bill ******* Murray:

Becoming Wild new season first episode. Wish we had something like this, Rolling Avalanche or something but you know they never will:

What is wrong with them? There's nothing wrong with a dev. camp. Are they that cheap/lazy to organize one? If nothing else, the prospects become friends and get to know each other and the surrounding area plus it gives fans something in the summer.

There is a development camp, but it will be only attended by our recent 5 picks from the 2012 draft.

So...should the rest of the league even play? I mean it seems guaranteed that the Oilers are a dynasty with two Bobby Orr's and several varients of Gretzky, Lemieux and Sam Gagner.

There's a few teams I believe not doing it. The blues aren't iirc.

^ Yeah but the Blues are going to Traverse City or whatever for the prospect tournament, not sure if we are. They also don't have as much depth (though they do have top end talent with Tarasenko/Rattie obviously). They were also a 110 pt team....we might wanna focus a bit more on this. The timing I don't care about whether we do it now or in late August but they should get the prospects together at some point.

Wow, Wolski to the Caps? Interesting move. Apparently he's been told he'll start off with a top-six position, as well. Could it be they're looking for him to be their #2 center that nobody has quite stepped in to yet?

Either way, pretty smart no-risk pickup on their end. 1 year, $600,000
