Bruins Fans in Toronto (Go To Harbour Sports Grille!)

Hey Bruins fans,

So I have grown up my entire life just outside of Toronto and have only ever had a few buds and my brother to cheer our Bruins on around here. Well now my brother live in BC and organizes people to meet to watch B's games there. I'd like to do the same and get those of you that love the Spoked B together at a pub for the playoffs. Where are you all?! What do you say?!

Go Bruins Go!!!!!

dude! what timing. i was actually going to start a thread next week asking Toronto B's fans about good spots to watch our team because i'll be in TO the entire week of the 16th, so basically most of round one.

I'll be keeping a keen eye on this thread. If there are no specific B's fan hangout spots then i guess a good sports bar where all the games will be shown would be good.

Any recommendations will be welcomed, but if not I'm sure we can decide!

I'd be down for turning a place into a Bruins pub for the playoffs (if there isn't one already). If enough people show up, the owner/manager won't care....as long as the drinks are flowing.

I'm working in Toronto, I could definitely meet downtown for a few games. It'd be a lot of fun for sure!

Hmm... Alright well does anyone know of any larger venues that are easily accessible from all angles? (401 East/West)

Nice idea. Might have to make the trip from Niagara Falls.

Usually, I wouldn't think of watching a Bruins playoff game in a bar. I've always been about watching at home, usually by myself so that I can concentrate.

This year however, I really want to be relaxed watching the games. Hoping for no stress since all I have to think of on those particularly bad nights is "We've go the Cup."

I guess I'll see how long this no-stress thing will last.

I don't live in Toronto but was there in November to see the B's play.

Real Sports across the street from the ACC is amazing and I am sure they'd have the game on there.

Thanks Rusty. i'll keep Real Sports in mind. I'll be near the 401 and Avenue road area but we're driving up so it won't be a problem going downtown. I'm guessing my car should be safe with Mass plates and a big "Thank You Kessel" bumper sticker huh?

If anyone touches my car then i'm going straight to twitter and calling the monster a backup loser.

I'm up in Newmarket area, but would love to join for a game or two (especially for series clinching ones)... Besides it would be nice to be able to curse the refs and scream in excitement. Got a new “baby bruin girl” in the home and have to be hush, hush come game time. Same thing happened last year (with our first child) and all I could do is squeeze a teddy while watching all those game 7’s.

Not in or from Toronto, but I totally support your idea to fly the flag up there and share your passion! Good luck! I was a Boston sports fan living in San Antonio, Texas for two years and know how hard it can be to follow an "out of market" team. I can tell you from experience that the more of you who come together, the more enjoyable it will be. Go B's!

in solidarity,

Rob Fournier

You shouldn't have any trouble seeing games or finding B's fans. Boston and Detroit have the most fans in southern Ontario once the Leafs and Habs are toast. The Bruins - Senators series should be the biggest draw for many bars.

Please feel free to heckle the Ottawa fans........pleeeeeeease.

I move into my new house in Milton tomorrow. I'd be up for a little meet up once a location is picked.

I remember Real Sports fondly for its colossal big screen - but the place has a distinct "lower bowl at a leafs game" feel about it. Not many real fans, mostly suits and people "being seen".

The beer glasses have a panic line on them though, which was neat.

Need to find a small bar owned by a B's fan willing to let you invade on playoff nights

Bro, What about the Boston Pizza off the 401 in Scarborough? Isn't there another one near Kennedy off the 401? Will have tons of TV's and the Sens game on and you can remember the name easily enough!

Way to keep the family tradition going!

Boston Pizza changed it's name to Montreal Pizza in Round 1 last year.
Boston Pizza changed it's name to Vancouver Pizza in Round 4 last year.

Boston Pizza can go F itself!
