So am i to understand, based on the other thread about the series telecasts, that if worst comes to worst i will NOT be able to watch this from my hotel room or down at the hotel lobby bar? Friggin Sens!! couldn't even manage one damn point! This would all be a moot point if we were playing them 1st round.

Need to find a small bar owned by a B's fan willing to let you invade on playoff nights
What's a "panic line"?

When your beer gets to that line it's time to "panic" and get another one.

Ok, a number of years ago I used to be a bartender at a small bar in Bowmanville and had the opportunity to meet up with Gary who used to post on here a lot. If I recall GVKMedia couldn't make it.
Any fans in the East end, bowmanville/Oshawa area that would be interested in finding a spot?

Cool. I may be able to make it for the weekend games, probably not during the weeknights though. That is, until we're playing out west.

I'm quite jealous of you guys being able to hang out with fellow B's fans. I live in a rural area with very few hardcore fans around. The closest I get to being with fellow fans is here.

Champs is one place that is usually crowded with Bruins fans but for me anyways 2 of my best buddies are Bruins fans and we get together come playoff time. With the little ones now it's hard going out every 2nd night and ditching the wife like we use to

this is exactly my problem i'll have while i'm up in TO. I'll try and make the harbour sports grille but in reality it probably won't happen. when she first mentioned going up there for school vacation i thought "pffft, hockey capital of the world, every series will be on every channel, no problem". Just keeping an eye on the other thread about playoff coverage now shows how wrong i was. The fact that i can't just flip on the hotel TV and watch these games is really p*ssing me off.

I think all the Bruins games will be on Regular CBC except Game 1 & 3 which will be on CBC CHEX:

http://www.cbc.ca/sports/hockeynightincanada/broadcast/

And of course all the games will be available Online at www.cbc.ca & www.tsn.ca

So between CBC, NBC, TSN & TSN2 you won't miss much. Any games that aren't on one of those channels should be available in HD on NHL Centre Ice. (They always have been in the past)

Vacations she is usually good with, I can't complain to be honest, she knows it's starts late June and ends early October, she can book anytime in between that

Except every 2nd year like this one, she needs to ask permission as I need to watch the World Cup and Euro every 2nd year (Italy)
