That's one of the biggest downsides of being in certain levels of IT. I have to wear a suit everyday, but still have to crawl around on the floor sometimes.

Well, I've been working for this place since like Oct. Save for 2-3 days when it was simply equipment moves in an empty office, yup.

Tie every day, virtually always a jacket. Occasionally I did the sweater thing instead, but always with a tie too.

Is everyone else in suits? I've never seen anyone in an IT department that dressed up in all the companies I've worked for or been in.

I also basically work exclusively in New York City. Like this week I'm at a major office building in Manhattan, in Midtown, on Madison Ave... I'd be out of place wearing anything else. And I deal with VPs, Presidents, etc. of the companies frequently.

I don't think a suit is necessary...but then again, you're you and I expect nothing less from you.

This completes my life. I love Dumb and Dumber, and this will make up for the awful "prequel" no matter how it performs.

You're probably right, but all my co-workers wear them, and that's pretty much what my boss has decided is the dress code. But for refrence, I was just in a 20-ish minute meeting with the owner of this company. A multi-building owner worth millions upon millions of dollars. If I'm not wearing a suit I look out of place in these meetings.

Sometimes you have to look the part to get the part,

I KNOW!!! big gulps ftw..

people will always go ‘so what its not gonna be a as good as the first its gonna suck blah blah’ when it comes to anchorman 2, D&D2, etc…I never got that. they aren’t making a sequel to the shawshank redemption. it may very well not be as good- so what? its $10. I spend that much on a meal at the Pru.

Well enjoy your game!

Does the Rogers Centre have a retractable roof or not? I don't remember.

Played open hockey for about 80 minutes and I feel like I'm going to die. Muscles I didn't know I have are hurting.
