That's one of the biggest downsides of being in certain levels of IT. I have to wear a suit everyday, but still have to crawl around on the floor sometimes.

Is everyone else in suits? I've never seen anyone in an IT department that dressed up in all the companies I've worked for or been in.
I also basically work exclusively in New York City. Like this week I'm at a major office building in Manhattan, in Midtown, on Madison Ave... I'd be out of place wearing anything else. And I deal with VPs, Presidents, etc. of the companies frequently.

I don't think a suit is necessary...but then again, you're you and I expect nothing less from you.

You're probably right, but all my co-workers wear them, and that's pretty much what my boss has decided is the dress code. But for refrence, I was just in a 20-ish minute meeting with the owner of this company. A multi-building owner worth millions upon millions of dollars. If I'm not wearing a suit I look out of place in these meetings.
Sometimes you have to look the part to get the part,
people will always go ‘so what its not gonna be a as good as the first its gonna suck blah blah’ when it comes to anchorman 2, D&D2, etc…I never got that. they aren’t making a sequel to the shawshank redemption. it may very well not be as good- so what? its $10. I spend that much on a meal at the Pru.
When I go to the Yankees game in August it will be my first Yankees game even though it is in Toronto. I've only been to two other games both wins by the Jays over the Mariners and the Red Sox so i'm happy I get to finally see my Yankees play. Now if I were ever to go to a different stadium besides the Rogers Centre I would want to go to either Yankee Stadium or Fenway Park.
Well enjoy your game!
Does the Rogers Centre have a retractable roof or not? I don't remember.
