Who will represent the Habs at the 2012 NHL draft lottery next week?

The draft lottery takes place at TSN headquarters in Toronto next week (April 10th 2012) and the playoffs start on April 11th 2012.

Who will represent the Habs at the draft lottery? Geoff Molson, Serge Savard or Trevor Timmins?

My money is on Trevor Timmins because he always picks the players, talks to the media about picks etc.

Who do you think will represent the Habs?

Pierre McGuire

Seriously though, I would guess Molson will continue to put himself as the public face for now.

One of Reggie Houle, TT, Frank Jay or Carriere, I assume. It's usually a front office guy that's neither the head of scouting or the GM.

When was the last time you heard Timmins talk about picks?

Pretty sure he was under a gag order from PG.

I will go with Larry Carriere.

If no one volunteers, I would be happy to go and represent the team. If we win and get first overall, I will do a lot of fist pumps & probably the pee-wee herman dance.

So will we have to listen to that idiot Duffy make cute little remarks the entire process?

I think I remember Josh Gorges being there in the last draft. Am I right?

There is a reason why Larry Carriere is no longer behind the bench.

My money is on Molson & Timmins. Savard probably won't be there though since his job is limited to finding a replacement GM and three's a crowd. I don't think Larry Carrière will be there either because he's only interim GM. They may also send Gionta to have a team representative but it is unlikely.

This thread should be closed until we clinch a top 5 slot in the lottery.

And I can't recall it EVER being an active player in the 4 years TSN has broadcasted it.

Timmins should have a game to scout.

Molson should be busy trying to find a GM.

So I guess it will be Carriere.

Molson can take the trip to Toronto as an opportunity to interview Claude Loiselle who should be a candidate.

Larry Carriere, unless a new hire is made first.

This thread is silly, at the end of the day it doesn't matter if Youppi goes, the person doesn't do anything and has no impact.

Which likely points to Larry Carriere as in Interim GM.

Price. Then he can take a gulp of Vodka when Daly announces the Habs pick.
