We're obviously signing him for the playoff push.

Lindros and Jagr on the same line? How weird would that look.

Forsberg, Lindros, Jagr, and Pronger all on the same team? It's a 90's hockey fan's wet dream.

It is a photo with Lindros at practice. There is nothing written accompanying the image.

No one in Eastern Conference will be able to move this man from the crease, no one but Chara.

Someone get Eric a bigger helmet. That one looks a little tight.

Some people are really dumb. Sign lindros? he looked average against 40 and 50 year old men. Christ.

Nice to see him on the ice, and nice to see him in flyers colours. That alumini game really smoothed over the cracks in the relationship between the big E and the flyers brass. It's a good thing too, he was such a massive part of this organisation for the little time he was here

I am pretty sure no one is actually being serious about signing Lindros.

What I would give to have Lindros play at the caliber he was mid 90's for one more season. Say what you want about him and the situation between him and Clarke (Clarke was a ***** and a bad GM, Lindros' parents were too invasive), but he was one athlete that truly wanted to bring a championship home for the city. Not delivering the cup to Philadelphia is something I'm sure he regrets about his career.

In the mid to late 90's... Jagr and Lindros were the best two forwards in the NHL, by a mile, there were so few players in the history of the NHL who dominated in their prime like he did.

He had Crosby's point production, but was the best fighter and best hitter in the league.

I'd sign him to a contract til the end of the season/playoffs, $1 million, and give him a shot. If he can't do it, fine put him in the pressbox. But he's on the ice with the kids everyday. We all know the worst that could happen, but erasing that...he can't bring the team down at all.

Yup I'm serious.

Sponge there was 0% chance he was playing at 100% skill level in the alumni game. I'm not sure why you're using that to gauge his ability.

I suck at reading sarcasm on internet threads but even I picked up on the sarcasm in this thread.

We should also consider re-signing Chris Therien and Keith Jones, while allowing them to keep their color commentary jobs, thus allowing for first person color commentary.

Queue Xzibit.

"Look Flyers Fans. We put your color commentator in a hockey player so that he can color commentate while he plays hockey."
