Game 80: Blue Jackets @ Coyotes 7PM|4-2-2012|(Do or die part III)

Tonight is a very important night for hockey in Arizona. Playoff race aside, what we are seeing tonight could be the last ever Coyotes Home Game. While it is good to hope for the best, I ask that all of us prepare for the worst in case the match up vs Columbus is the last home matchup. I ask that all of you treat every single game remaining as it is the last Phoenix Coyotes game ever playoffs or no playoffs.

As you watch this game tonight(at the arena or on tv) I asked that you reflect back on the memories of this team and if you haven't made peace with the Coyotes, then I ask you to do so in order to go though the worst experence possible(if it does happen) with little pain as possible to no pain.

At the end of every Phoenix Coyotes Game remaining, I ask that to all the fans in the Coyotes Nation to say "Thank You" to the Coyotes. I'm not sure what I could also add as well but I think all of you get the idea.

Thank You Phoenix Coyotes and Thank You to all of the Phoenix Coyotes Fans here at HFBoards and Phoenix Coyotes Fans around the world for your support of the Phoenix Coyotes.

Geesus, I'm basically at tears already just reading your post. Let's go Coyotes, let's get a couple more home games in Glendale solidified before the offseason limbo!

I had to wipe the tears away a few times trying to write this and I don't even know if I got it right.

It is going to be a very emotional night so let's get a home win and take this as far as we can.

Doan's hat trick was probably the best moment this year. I wouldn't know, I was forced to give up my tickets and go to some kids birthday party. Man I let people know about that one.

After we lost in the playoffs last year, I stayed in the arena until security asked me to leave. It was pretty emotional, not looking forward to going through that again.

JUST WIN!!!!

Best of luck Yotes fans. I would like to see the Coyotes in the playoffs.

CBJ line-up:

Umberger (hot lately)- Brassard - Atkinson
Prospal - Letestu - Nash
Russell - Johansen - Dorsett
Gilles - Boyce - Boll

J Johnson - Wisniewski (back from concussion)
Lebda - Nikitin
A Johnson - Prout

York in net
Backed up by Mason or Shawn Hunwick (signed out of University of Michigan when Mason took a puck off the mask in practice - Thank you Colton Gilles)

York has a 1.56 gaa and .950 save percentage in four games.

Same here and I'm even more amazed that I didn't throw up considering I drank more on that night than I ever had in my life. I had at least 6 Bomber Beers, 5 shots, 3 Margeretias and 6 more beers after the game between YardHouse and Saddleback Ranch. of course I did spread out the drinks throughout the night.

Save the drama boys. We have a game to play tonight and win. We can beat these guys if we play our game.
We really need to score the first goal tonight.

I am concerned about the next 2 games back to back. I don't think I can stomach another start by LOLBarbs. Smith needs to play both games.

It depends how tonight goes. If the Coyotes win, they are probably locked into the playoffs or would need no more than a point to clinch. In that case, I'd rather just make sure Smith is rested for the playoffs.

I would wager that none of you chose the valley as your home because the Coyotes were here (as I did) and I don't plan on shedding any tears, so cowboy up people!

We OWE these guys.... actually the boys owe it to themselves to play their game, instead of what they've done against Columbus thus far this season.

I wouldn't worry about Labarbera at this point.... like you said win tonight.

Could be an emotional day. The reason I chose ASU over u of a was the coyotes.

Let's win this one, and let's get in the playoffs. Just to give us a few more home games.

I loved the atmosphere before Bryz let in 2 crappy goals early in the game. Will never forget the experience of being at a playoff hockey game.

The "miracle" speech was AWESOME!

If the last game won't affect the first round opponent, I say throw in Barbs, throw in the guys riding the pines and rest some people.

Hope you guys win since a win for us is meaningless.. a win for you could mean a chance to see more games for some of you. Also, it would suck bad to go out being swept by the worst team in hockey.. good luck!

Time for him to regress to the mean.
