Talked to Voldy via PM to get some input since he seems to be more familiar with this whole avatar thing than I am... which isn't meant to be impressive since I know nothing about this whole avatar thing.
Put in your suggestions (serious suggestions, please. We don't have a lot of time, so we don't need to clutter the thread up with a bunch of joke suggestions) by tomorrow night. Thursday morning I will create a poll using the ideas that get the most attention.
Now, keep in mind that I only have a limited number of poll options. I think it has temporarily been set to 16, but I'm not sure if that is changing back. Not everyone's idea is going to fit. If you don't have an idea but would like to participate, "vote" by quoting the idea and acknowledging your support somehow. If you submit an idea don't vote for your own until the poll is up, but go ahead and vote for another idea if you like it.
Like I said, the poll will be up by Thursday morning.
I wish we could do something with that sign outside the offices at the arena that says "Stanley Cup Champions" since everyone made such a big deal about on the main board.

Let me start by saying Looks Good in Gold is solid. That can work.
As far, as the latter idea, what about something like "Fufilling the Prophecy"? We can put the plaque, a "Playoffs 2012" slide with our logo and "fulfilling the prophecy", and then for each individual one, a player/coach with a very prophetic/biblical name, like Rads being "The Prodigal Son", Bridgestone Arena as the "Promised Land", Weber as "The Great Bearded One", etc.
Instead of making individual requests, can't we just go ahead and ask ATL 344 to make a series of these using the templates of the players he already has on his computer and then people can pick and choose as he posts them on here? Seems like that would be the fastest and easiest way to get this done. Nod your head if you agree with me.

lets ask him first.... at the start of the season he sent them by PM. I dont know if he prefers that way or not but we already impose on him enough without specifying how he should deliver them.

Ok I'm not sure if I'll have a chance early tomorrow morning to do this, so I might have to do it tonight. I'll let everyone get a chance to get home from work, get settled, and sign on t voice their opinions of course, but I'll probably make the poll before I go to bed.
