Pretty lame move by Milbury by apologizing. He said what he thought was right, and now he backs out.
His point got across regardless.
I mean, if you want to make headlines or have a public agenda, it's easy to slam someone on the front page, then throw in an apology a day later on page 35.
Sure and that's your opinion on the subject, the question is why is it now acceptable to critique a player for that but not for what you felt was "punk" behavior?
He's allowed to call him a punk. I don't care what he thinks. But joking about Sid having "35 concussions" isn't right and he deserves the blowback he's getting.

Ovechkin is not the face of the NHL. It's really disgusting. The one time someone has the balls to call a spade a spade on Crosby he's forced to apologize. It's like the ****ing mafia, you can't callout the don. I'm surprised he hasn't been whacked.

Fact. If you say anything negative about a person or a group of people, people will complain and you will have to make a public "apology." He said what he felt, I don't see why he needs to apologize. It's not like he said something horrible about him.

He's apologizing for the concussion jokes, which IMO crossed the line. Joking about something that has ended peoples career is not funny. I'm sure Pronger was not laughing.
