Don't we already have Franson though who can fill in? Or would this be for the 7th d-man slot?

The team has always carried an extra dman incase injuries come up unexpectedly.

I wonder if this means Holzer will finally see some game action.

They will have to do shuffling as Phaneuf, Schenn, Komi, and Franson all play RD.

Holzer is also RD.

I'm tired of Phaneuf on the RD he should switch over. I bet he'd hit the net a lot more.

With the depth the Marlies have, it makes sense for him to return to North Dakota. Let him develop his confidence even more before he makes the jump to pro. He has solid shut down potential.

I think if he can score at a similar rate, maybe shoot for 80 points, that would be fine by me. It comes down to the supporting cast also. He was on a very strong line this year.
I seem to remember Morrison saying he had as high a ceiling as almost anyone in the draft.

I know that doesn't actually mean anything, but it makes me happy to think about it.

Let's be realistic though. As a coach, and an enthusiast, I can see that Leivo brings all of the tools to the table to be a professional hockey player, and given the skills he has, his ceiling is high, it's just a matter of putting in the work in practice and the weight room, and good coaching, and this kid can be successful.

So, you have to buy the tickets without knowing when the game is? Or are they releasing the playoffschedule as well? I'm sure the standings aren't final yet so I'm sort of confused lol...

Kulemin is 230lbs, he is Leivo is 180. Kulemin was 215 and benched the most in the combines in his draft year. Leivo will never be a beast like Kulemin and hit like a truck. Like to Kulemin hit more as that is his best weapon

I think if Kulemin was an angrier person, he'd be quite formidable to play against. He's a tank on skates, need to take advantage of it more often..

Yup, final score was 4-2. Next game is April 6th. They need one more win to move on to the next round. It's nice to see them get off to a strong start with this playoff series. They were hanging out to dear life with that 8th spot and now they're one win away of unseating the number 1 seed and moving on to round 2.

He'll do well. I'm really looking forward to seeing Percy in camp I think he's going to turn some heads for sure and rocket up the depth chart.

Was that his first year of eligibility? Because he was drafted as a 20 year old.

Mark Owuya with 38 of 40 stops. Kenny Ryan on fire in his first two games. Scored a goal and added an assist tonight. Also had 15 minutes in penalties.

Ryan has two goals and three assists in his first two playoff games

If Leivo hits the weight room, why can't he be? Saying that he won't ever be a beast like Kulemin, who doesn't really have a mean streak, is a bit short sighted. Leivo plays with an edge already and he's still young.
