Is it just me or with eery body coming through does it look like they are going to have to make some room very soon
of course they will. Which is why it's so mind boggeling that GMG just hangs onto every single prospect and he hasn't made some of them available to bring in a top 6 forward/top 4 Dman.
Didn't Brock Nelson pilot the rocket ship to that planet of Amazonian women with spears? They brought a monkey and a goofball baseball fan from Brooklyn.

Room where? With the Islanders? No need to make room until they literally are over ripe...just on the cusp of the NHL. I am not suggesting that you can't move prospects to acquire established players. I actually expect that. I just don't think the Islanders should consider trading an Okposo, Bailey, Nielsen, Grabner, etc. because we have some good prospects who really have not made the team yet. In other words, we don't move Grabner because Kabanov had a pretty good year. And we're not trading Bailey because Strome was a stud this year. I hope I did not misunderstand you, but this is what I thought you were implying.
Hopefully Rhett re-signs. Ullstrom should be up next year, I am hoping Cizikas stays in the AHL next year, I like what I saw but I think some more development would be best.
Bridgeport could be Calder Cup winners next year. Deep threats.
I hope Nino stays down. Halmo should be there as well. Dibo may be up. Donovan will be up IMO over de Haan. One of Poulin or Nilsson will be up, but that is still a pretty sick lineup.

Being that Anders Lee is 2 years older than Nelson, more physically ready, and seemed to plateau this year offensively, I fully expected Lee to sign this year and Nelson to be the one getting one more year of college hockey...Nelson isn't as physically mature and it just seems he would have benefited more from one more year of college seasoning than will Lee...... But this is the Isles, everything is done in reverse..... Maybe we could send Nino to North Dakota to play out Nelson's last two seasons.

People are complaining hes signed... theyd complain if he wasnt signed... some people here seriously just tick me off... If they slot him on the 4th on the Island like Nino, then yeah thats just silly... but playing in the AHL will be good for Nelson (as it will for Nino next year I hope).
We really need to stop complaining about EVERYTHING... some things deserve to be complained about, but when people are bashing getting a good young prospect under contract and making jokes about DiPietro for buying 5000 fans hot dogs and sodas its just stupid at that point
In all seriousness, I feel as though as if DiPietro saved orphans from an overturned ambulance that was on fire the first post in the thread about it would say "LULZ Dipi BACK IN AN AMBULANZ!"
