Atta boy Phil.

Legit 80+ point player

(who was the youngest 80 point player the leafs ever had?)

He didn't need a stud #1 center to pull in those numbers. Congrats Phil The Great!

Ever wonder what would've happened if Sundin could've played with a winger of Kessel's caliber for an extended period? We'd probably have two legit 90 point players....

congrats phil, still a fan of yours and you took a big step this season.. AND you proved once again you dont need a dominant #1 center to be successful...

lets hope next season you keep growing and shut those bruin fans up
(still bittersweet considering you were one of our marquee players who dissapeared during our freefall)

Yup, my mistake. Most points since 98-99.

Glad to have Kessel on this team

It's going to be really funny to watch the Toronto media rip on a top 5 scorer.

It's pretty sad that whatever he'll do will ever be enough. We all support the guy when he scores goals and then dump on him the moment he has a slump.

He really is the MVP of the team. There is NO ONE on this team with the talent he has.

Yea, no. Grabo disappeared in Feb. Kessel was over ppg in Feb, Lupul, hard to be MVP when you get injured for about 20 games.

Congrats on a personal record, great season. Just don't say something stupid like "I'd trade them all for a win."

we could do a poll in another thread.... i dont wanna dump on the kessel thread, especially since im happy for him hitting the 80pt plateau and hes my fav player on the team

from what ive seen this season lupul brought more to the table than phil this year, i watched every game and lupul was a factor in more games imo

80 points with Bozak as his centre. Fantastic.

And yet all I hear is how much he sucks.

I saw we trade him. He's value is as high as it will every get at them moment! He sucks anyways, he's just been really lucky this year to get to a 60+ point season. Trade him + our 1st round pick + gardiner for Nash. Win win for both teams I'd say.

just kidding

An excellent season by Kessel.

Now Burke, let's see what he can do with a true #1 centre.
