Hes good but overrated, cause his stats are inflated due to playing with malkin.

What did Neal say to the Bruins to get them so mad?

Neal's fight with Ference right after was even more impressive. Hell of a player.

Ference got his ass beat.... who care about the 'take down'. It's easy to take someone down whenever you're cowering and just grabbing on there chest and pulling them down.

This is about Neal getting 40, not about the penalty or the dives or the guy singing in the stands.
Neal getting 40, PERIOD.
Any further off-topic, warnings/infractions will follow.

Congrats, Neal! Hopefully we can get a 50 goal scorer and a 40 goal scorer before the year is up.

Pens hadn't had a winger hit even 30 since Kovalev. Awesome stuff

Guy scores 40 goals, third most goals in the NHL, and this is all the response that there is? Really?
Whoever is on his line, quite the accomplishment and deserves some props. Gratz Neal, exceeded expectations by quite a bit. At season's start if he had hit 26 or 27 most Pens' fans would have been fine with that. Deserve all the props you get even though it seems only Pens' fans seem likely to give you any.

True. Neal scores 40+ every year regardless of who his center is

You shoulda read it before it was cleaned up.
Congrats to Neal...he's been beyond phenomenal all season long.
Who cares if his numbers are helped by a symbiotic relationship with Malkin? They're both benefiting from playing with each other, that doesn't make the stats any less impressive. As we've seen throughout Geno and Sid's career...you can give a guy an empty net to shoot at 3 times a game, but if he can't hit the damn net none of it matters.

its what, his 4th season? I'm not saying Malkin didn't help but its still a pretty big accomplishment. He's a point away from being a ppg player.

He's a very good player, I do think he got help from Malkin in getting this, but in his own right, I'd be confident in him scoring 30-40 goals even without Malkin. People have been talking about how good Malkin/Crosby would be with a solid winger for years and now we have proof.. (this is coming from somebody who's not too fond of the pens)

Had a big feeling this offseason that this kid would be something else much to my despair.
Anyway, congrats on an amazing season.

It may have been on an undeserved 5 on 3, but that 40th goal was still a hell of a snipe.
No idea what the Bruins problem with him is. I suppose they had a game plan to stir it up with him and throw him off his game. Didn't seem to work.

Neal targets Chara every time they play. They don't like it.

40 is impressive. I would love for him to become a true power forward. I was hoping he would get the Gordy Howe Hat Trick tho. Maybe next time!

He's not afraid of Chara...nor Andy Ference.
It's hilarious remembering back on some of the comments about him from some of my fellow Pens fans at this time last year. Congrats to him.
