There was absolutely nothing wrong or false about what he said regardless of what you think he was implying.

Not sure if you're sarcastic, but if not, good on you. I doubt many others feel the same way as you do. It's always "you agitator/ player who made us mad should fight our toughest player" Then you have some Bruins fans who think their agitators shouldn't have to fight anyone.
Gotta love how Edwards brings size into this, but he doesn't seem to give credit to smaller players who fight bigger Bruins players.
And on a last note. To call Neal a 40 goal scorer isn't correct. He's done it once. Is Brian Gionta a 40 goal scorer ? Nope.
Ference seems to be the only Bruin who gets stuck fighting people not in his weight class, or just a better fighter overall.

I think it's a combination of Neal being big and Ference being tiny, I don't think I've seen the guy go with anyone who wasn't at least 2-3 inches taller than him.
This is ridiculous and quite frankly not worth the time. He didn't imply anything he flat out said it; 40 goal scorer.
After hearing a million times on these boards how Lucic is a 30 goal scorer(after doing it once), you're nitpicking about neal? He scored 40 goals, doesn't matter if it's once, twice, or whatever, he did it AND as a matter of fact, it is this year. Call it a hot streak or fluke or whatever you want to, but the FACT he scored 40 this year is the exact reason why he shouldn't risk injury, he's very important to the pens right now, anamoly or not.

I find it hard to not label him a 40 goal scorer, WHEN HE JUST SCORED 40 GOALS!!! As of right now he's a 40 goal man, whether or not he becomes a consistent 40 goal scorer remains to be seen. But as of right now he is.
LOL at people acting like Neal is massive or something. The guy is average NHL size. The majority of players are bigger than Ference, no big deal. Also big LOL at Edwards. What ****ing fight was he watching? boggles my mind how much of a homer he is.

every team has players that chirp, clearly neal crossed a line or did something more than usual because four guys on the Bruins challenged him. it's not that hard to imagine, even the broadcasters hinted that something must of happened that they were not aware of to get that many guys pissed off at him.
And you don't have to listen hard.
