Back from the game with some cheap grub in me:

1.) On the 4-2 goal, I leaped out of my seat and yelled out "THAT'S THE BACKBREAKER!" I remember the shot rifling into the net, but don't remember how it got that person's stick. Didn't even know that it was Jumbo who scored until they announced it on the PA. I was so nervous that the Stars were going to tie it and just wanted that insurance goal that I was fixated on the puck at that time.

2.) On the 5-2 empty netter, I got up and sang "Shpoopie, shpoopie, the girl who's hard to get!" (Family guy reference).

3.) In the Stars parking lot, I rolled all the windows down and blasted "Good Feeling." And sung along LOUDLY. What a perfect time for such an annoying, repetitive song.

4.) Overall, the 2nd 3rd and 4th lines were awesome, especially the bottom 6 who ran over the Stars.

5.) Thank God the first line showed up to score that insurance policy goal.

6.) D played pretty good. Could have been better, but I was pleased. Colin White hasn't been so horrible the last few games since Murray went down.

7.) And then there's Aunty. I was ticked off about that softy, and voice it here, but he came up HUGE. I really thought the Stars were going to tie it, and my heart sunk when Benn had that breakaway. Aunty giveth and taketh away!

8.) The Stars fans near me were so mad about the 4 minute high stick. They even showed the reply and instead of being mad at Fistric (like they should have been), they were mad at Jumbo because they thought he took a dive. When JT was sent off because he was bleeding, I pointed that out loudly ("look, he got high sticked and was bleeding, and has to come off the ice because of the blood. DUH!") The crowd near me quieted down until they built up momentum for killing off the 4 minute PP.

9.) How the Stars didn't get a shot off before the 1st period ended on the 5 on 3 still puzzles me. And we think our team is full of chokers...

GO SHARKS!!!!!

He started off against Eriksson-Ribeiro-Ryder, then Burish-Nystrom-Fiddler, and threw some good hits on Morrow I think (maybe during the PK).

Solid in the faceoffs and got an assist on the T.J. goal.

Tappen interviewed Couture on NHL Tonight. Also Jaffe on TJ's shot: "that's a silly shot by Galarzi."

Even the Heatley-apologist in me can't say that I do.

I've always thought the Galiardi-Moore-Mitchell line was the 4th line, but I could be wrong.

They're so closely split in ice time, that there's no difference. The only player that went above was Moore (and by 3 minutes).

I vote Havlat.

Since he has came back he has been a beast. He is by far the best one-on-one puck handler on the team. Not sure where this Havlat was doing in the first half of this season, but I'm sure glad he is here now!

At this point we have two 4/3rd lines, which is great. If our top two lines can keep their production up we are looking pretty good. And after tonight it looks like Marleau is the only one that is on the snide.

Obviously he's saving it for the playoffs.

I almost wish we had players with those actual last names.

Just getting around to watching TV postgame. Is Hedican a huge fan of Martin Yan? Keeps saying "right here" during his replay commentary segments.

Wish I could have seen the game but I had 2 midsemester tests today, the first of which was during the game :/

Does that make me a casual fan, Pinkfloyd?

Don't you mean 2nd round of the playoffs (unless said team is detroit, then it is 3rd round)?
