The underestimation of Mr. Jaroslav Halak is unreal on these boards (main and everywhere else), am I the only one who remember his clutch play in the playoff in montreal? Blues FTW!
Ottawa, then Pittsburg (i want another iconic team)
Vancouver.. St Lou? Nashville? Mind you, it might be good if Nashville lost in the 1st round and possibly increasing the odds of Weber pulling the pin on that franchise.

I think Elliott gets the nod in game #1, he is the hot hand. (3 straight shut-outs against playoff teams to close out his games in March)
Detroit in the West - that way I wont ever be mad at the refs for blowing calls.
Definite NO to the Kings. I hope Lombardi loses his job.
Florida in the East if Vancouver loses int he first round. If Vancouver wins in the first round I want one of Boston, Philly or Pittsburgh to be the East champs, so they can beat Vancouver if they make it to the SCF.
Whoever comes out of the Ott-Bos series and the Blues, I love the way they built their team and how they've turned it around since Hitchcock took over.
exact same responses as calgary fans. whats with Alberta?
personally, i look at things differently. i look at it as BC and Alberta against the east. we are the reason why canada is the economic global icon that it is.
i guess a lot of it has to do with jealousy of the franchise state, city aesthetics etc. but realistically, we share what makes the west > all.

might have something to do with the attitude of your fans

Sorry as an Albertan I couldn't care less about this fact (essentially we lucked out and have oil), even less so when it comes to cheering for sports teams.

It's the team and the Vancouver fanbase everyone hates. I don't recall nearly as much vitriol directed towards the Linden/Bure/Ronning Canucks teams.
If people hated franchises they were jealous of, Detroit and Pittsburgh would be reviled. They are not.
If Albertans loved Vancouver so much they would move there. They don't. The population flows in the opposite direction (it turns out people value the ability to make a decent living more highly than aesthetics).
