I would seriously support the junior team until they are out.

There is no way that i'm cheering for Hollywood in the playoffs. They shouldn't even be in the playoffs as far as i'm concerned

I would like St. Louis or Pittsburgh. STL a little more because they have never won
and have not accomplished much in their history except when they reached the finals three years in a row in the early 70s and lost everything one of them. Still gotta hurt. Ughhh..

Rangers all the way.

Would love to see the Rangers beat the Canucks in 7 Games in SCF.

That would be epic.

Kings should be in the playoffs. They've underachieved this year, but looking at that roster, there's no way they aren't one of the 8 top teams in the Western Conference. If it's Vancouver-LA in round 1 ... gooooooooo Hollywood

Anybody that plays Vancouver, I guess.

I can't even bring myself to put my support firmly behind the Senators this year because ugh... I'm jealous as hell about their season.

So yeah, I hate every other team. Screw 'em. Especially Vancouver.

NYR / WSH (no preference)
OTT over BOS
FLA over NJ
PIT over PHI

SJ over VAN
PHX over STL
CHI over LA
NAS over DET

That's what I'd like to see, and bolded are the main teams I'm supporting

No love for the Hawks? I'm hoping Chicago and Vancouver hook up for a series of old time hockey at some point. The Blackhawks know how to handle the Nucks in the real season.

St Louis has been my second favourite team for most of my life so I am definitely on their bandwagon.

I wouldn't mind seeing Nashville, New York or Pittsburgh do well either.

I'd like St. Louis to win if I had to make a choice too. They were in the SCF only because the NHL in their wisdom put all the expansion teams in one conference and the established teams in the other. They didn't do any other favours for those teams except to ensure one would be in the finals.

Wouldn't it be nice to see a Van/Ott final??

Don't get me wrong, I'll be cheering against vancouver the whole way. But let's be honest, they are a good team. If they do make it to the finals again, I'd love for it to be against Ottawa, especially because I think the majority of Canadians would support the sens over the canucks. Would be hilarious to see canuck fans alienated by the rest of Canada!

Realistically I don't see Ottawa making it that far but they are my team in the east. Maybe I'm a bandwagoner but I do like Pitts too. I think those are my two teams in the East.

I've really started to like Chicago the last few years. Maybe because their core of young stars reminds me of what I hope the Oilers could be in a couple years. I think they may be my team in the West, but its really anything but vancouver at this point.

West: Whatever team does the most damage to the Vancouver Canucks.

East: Go Canada. Ottawa Senators!

it's tough. I don't really like any of the teams in the playoffs.
so the west I don't care, and in the east I just want Pitts and Philly to lose.

They accomplished the task of turning the Philly Flyers into the Broad Street Bullies as well. They played an integral part of Snider deciding to get big and mean as the Flyers were constantly pummeled playing St. Louis and a couple of other teams.

personally, i look at things differently. i look at it as BC and Alberta against the east. we are the reason why canada is the economic global icon that it is.

i guess a lot of it has to do with jealousy of the franchise state, city aesthetics etc. but realistically, we share what makes the west > all.

I really hate reading this kind of crap.

So pretentious, so immature, makes us look like a whole bunch of ******** over here. You make it seem like it was the work of ONLY western canadians that made the Oil Industry possible. It's luck that it happened to be here.

We're a country. Have some sense of nationalism.

Besides, it's pretty sad if our reason for being an economic global icon is that one-dimensional. Also, even saying we're a global icon for that is absurd. I hope you're full aware of the amount of face palming around the world at how Alberta runs their Oil Sands. I went to Europe one summer and this guy was talking to me about it and he asked do you pay taxes over there, and i said some, but not that much, but still enough, he said oh that makes sense your country must make enough revenue off of the Oil for you guys not to pay any. I said, well no, the companies usually get a free ride because we want to maximize employment and make it easier for them to innovate. He asked if our gas for cars etc was free, I said no it's over 1$/L, he laughed in my face. The amount of awe people from outside this country have for our resources is astronomical, but the way we use it apparently makes us a joke.
