Hahaha that video is hilarious.

And Piqued, I get that Edmonton is really, really crappy. I just think there should be a limit to the amount of 1sts you get. After a while it's time to start improving your damn team in other ways. When is the last time someone got three 1st round picks in a row? I'm of the opinion that you'd have to try to suck that hard, and I think they are tanking very, very hard.

Weber got a $2,500 fine for his head slamming yesterday. Ridiculous.

I would've given him a 1 game suspension. The maximum assessable fine is too low as well.

It's the playoffs. The NHL's discipline system continues to be a joke, but at least in the playoffs it's a consistent joke.

$2500?!

He made that much yesterday before the pregame warmup!

Oh, you throw that book at him, Shanny.

I'm glad everybody except Preds fans understands the Weber ruling was a joke.

Zetterberg's helmet cracked on the play.

Wow, and they still sucked.

Didn't retain any of them for more than 5 seasons.

Well to be fair, Lindros was really Forsberg who they did keep and with whom they did win the Cup five years later.

Has to be Weber, i don't think karlsson will get it because he is the new guy, chara has won it before and Weber should have last year but they wanted to give lidstrom his last norris

In a poll on the main board a while back I voted that I thought (not who we wanted to win) Chara would win. I think there's a good case for all three. Personally, I hope Weber wins because to me in a lot of ways he's the perfect defenseman and is having one of the more solid careers of this generation.

I can't remember, when is voting for these awards supposed to be finished? Are the ballots already signed and sealed?

I don't know exactly when, but it's all complete before the playoffs.

I think Weber should have won last year and he would have been a distant second this year to me. Karlsson, while weak on defense was nothing short of out of this world amazing on offense

He's just too weak on defense though. If you give him the award then it truly does become a point competition. If he could just shore up his play in his own zone a little it would be him in a landslide.

Green didn't win it when he was nominated, and his class was significantly weaker than this year's.

I agree that's why he won't win, but i think he is more valuable to his team than chara or weber

That's not what the award is for, though.
