Q said it's not serious. Though, it is an "upper body" injury.. so that, coupled with the fact Q said it wasn't serious.. likely means Bolland is done for the year.

Saw that Bolland is out, Bruno is questionable, and that Toews will travel and not play - all at the same time. First thought that ran through my head was we're trying to give the game away, and hang onto the sixth seed. Either I'm onto something or you douches who have said to tank and hang onto the six spot have brainwashed me.
We're one game back from a 4 seed. If Q is resting guys I'm going to be pissed.
We don't hold the tiebreaker over Nashville. I think its prudent, at this juncture, (haven't used that in a while) to give guys a rest against Minny. Hopefully we get the 2 points anyway, and then we take stock at the landscape and see where the chips fall.
Bolland's play has been awful lately and his penalties are killing Hawks
His penalties have been borderline to put it politely... he has been more involved and probably playing his best hockey of the year. Just warming up for the playoffs.

I think it's naive for anyone to think that tanking hasn't been discussed behind closed doors. Obviously they're never going to tell their guys to let up or lose on purpose but they can certainly gimp the roster to the point as to where a win would be less likely.
Or these guys really could just need to heal and can't play.

I'm not sure what the point of tanking would be.
I get that Nashville has owned Chicago this year, but so have the Kings ... and Phoenix has a winning record against Chicago, too.
If you could pick the perfect first-round opponent based on the regular season, it would be Detroit, with or without home ice, as the Hawks are 3-0-2 against the Red Wings.
I guess my feeling would be to just play the final two games and not worry about it. You can't avoid difficult matchups in the playoffs. And while hard-fought series wins in the playoffs can take their toll on a team, the Bruins showed last year that you can play seven-game series after seven-game series and still win the cup.
