It's kinda funny that a lot of fans were seriously wanting him traded in the beginning of the season. He's still one of the top players imo.

Nice to see him doing well. Even as a hawks fan I've always liked Zetterberg. His two way play is tremendously underrated.

Been a beast since the ASG. If Detroit wins it all, it's a toss up for who would win the CS between him, Pav, Lids and Howie because one of them will have to be unreal, but Z gives me a special feeling during the playoffs. Can't wait till the round three beard!!

having not watched the Hurricanes at all this year, has he surged too? Or are you saying in terms of player quality? Because I would say Eric Staal is the Eastern Conference version of Zetterberg

Just mean that he had a sub-par first half and a great second half.

Detroit board is funny at times, Z is Drury and Franzén is a floater. If that board had its say they would have been gone both for a 2nd round pick each last trade deadline.
