What an incredible trade for Shero. We couldn't have asked for anything more in a winger.

Direct all slobbering here.

I had plenty of mean words to say to the guy last year during the end of the season and playoffs. I really did not think he would fit in with the organization.

Glad he proved me wrong.

Only 1 point in the next 2 games for a point per game winger. Who would have ever thought we'd have one of those?

I was just hoping he'd end up maxing out as a 35-35 player. Glad to be wrong.

He's not gonna beat too many guys one on one, but he complements our centers and is an elite finisher. Exactly what we needed.

81 points is pretty absurd for the type of game he plays. Especially when you look around the league and see that only 3 guys have 90 points.

He's got as many points as Kovachoo, ffs.

Also, posted this in the GDT: Rossi predicted he'd have 17 goals this year. He has 18 PP goals alone.

If he can develop his puck handling, and maybe get a little quicker... he might be the best winger in the league.

40 goals, 80+ points. Just crazy. Where's that Neal projection thread?

And this is why people hate the pens.

Our 3rd/4th best( depends who you're talking to) has 40 goals and over 80 points.

Better than the Hossa Trade because we got to keep both players.

I still don't understand how people were trashing Neal last year when he had a lot of bad luck with shooting. 1.9% is not sustainable even by bad players.

Overrated, feeding off Malkin and Crosby. Neal would be a 2nd line player on most teams

And a big fight as well

What a trade by Shero!

To be fair, and I know Rossi is a dudd, he did a good job with Malkin coming off a bad year and injury.

But only 17 for Neal? I thought at least 25 coming into the season.
