Wow, Penguins are pathetic. No defense and no discipline.

Is this 70's or 80's hockey in Philly?

Insanity.

This is the best period of hockey i have ever seen. 6 goals, a few of them super sick, Neal's in particular, a bunch of huge hits, several fights between star players, 3 people ejected

Fleury has been Pittsburgh's biggest problem. Routine saves are becoming 2nd chances for Philly.

Very true. Philly's defense isn't exactly good, but much better then that of Pittsburgh. Fleury is playing "rebound hockey".

Fleury is continuing his atrocious playoffs. He's always been overrated but man he's been awful. Rebounds galore and plenty of soft goals to boot. They should put in Johnson to start the 2nd.

Lots of stupidity in this series though. Asham needs a lengthy suspension. Crosby is being his typical pathetic self. Giroux and him fighting was stupid.

Penguins have lost composure. They aren't used to getting beat like this. Fleury has been awful too.

LOL, that's the easiest way to sum it up.

The Asham match penalty was for crosschecking Schenn in the neck/throat area and doing a Carkner on him when he was laid out on the ice. I thought the Carkner thing was the worst thing we'd see this playoffs, apparently not. Asham should get 10+.

plus fleury let in a goal you would expect any goalie of any age to stop

Scratch that, a goal you would expect any person on the planet to stop. Puck was rolling towards him at 1 mile per hour and going wide, with no player around him, he went to put his glove on hit, and somehow hit it into his own net

How is Fluery still in net for the Pens?

He's let up 15 goals in 2 1/2 games so far!

that is really really really bad!

Well their defense has been bad and Johnson isn't exactly a world beater in net. He's a veteran backup but that's it. I still think they should have made the switch but with the way they're playing their only hope is Fleury drastically improves and quickly.

Asham should be suspended for the rest of the playoffs. Same with Carkner.

Either of these teams are going to get tuned up later in the playoffs if they don't find some defense and goaltending.
